With all the holidays taking place over the past few weeks, the Android platform has been relatively quiet. But now that we are getting over it and returning to our busy daily lives, things are starting to pick up the pace again. Last week gave us several notable titles to check out, so without further ado, let’s take a look:

Maze Machina

Maze Machina is a turn-based puzzle game coming from the developer of Card Crawl and Miracle Merchant. You’ll control an anthropomorphic rodent who must try to escape from a clockwork maze. Each level is divided into several squares, and you have to help our protagonist avoid enemies and get to the exit.

Arknights

Arknights is a gacha RPG/tower defense hybrid that was really popular over in China before making its way to the global market last week. Instead of towers, the player will have a huge roster of heroes at their disposal with which they must fend off incoming enemies. The game sets itself apart for its lovely visuals and surprisingly expansive lore

Extraordinary Ones

Extraordinary Ones is a new MOBA title for mobile by NetEase in which you will select various anime-styled characters to engage in frantic and fun aerial battles. On top of that, you can strengthen your bond with your heroes by playing them multiple times. Doing so will, of course, net you some neat rewards.

Space Grunts 2

Space Grunts 2 is an acclaimed card-based roguelike that has been available for iOS for quite a while. It has now arrived on the Android platform, allowing players to battle their way through a series of randomly-generated levels. Needless to say, there are plenty of abilities and upgrades to unlock along the way.

Warface: Global Operations

Warface: Global Operations is a new multiplayer FPS that sets out to challenge the throne of Call of Duty Mobile. Based on a PC/console shooter of the same name, it features several gameplay modes and a sizeable weapon collection.
