The Nameless Honor is a seasonal reward system in Honkai: Star Rail that grants players extra tasks and levels to complete for special rewards. It has two tiers, namely the free and paid tiers, with the paid tier providing more rewards and benefits. To level up their Nameless Honor, players can accomplish daily and weekly missions, which earns them experience points and unlocks exclusive rewards like currency, character level-up materials, and Stellar Jade. Through this system, players can gain a sense of accomplishment and progression as they conquer challenges and earn unique rewards.

In Honkai Star Rail, players can opt to purchase the Nameless Glory, which is the paid version of the Nameless Honor. This version provides additional rewards such as exclusive light cones, character ascension materials, and valuable resources like Special Star Rail Passes. However, players can still enjoy the game and complete the Nameless Honor without the paid option.

Is Nameless Glory Worth It?

During the early stages of the game, the Nameless Glory may appear attractive to players due to its ability to significantly boost character progression. However, whether or not it is worthwhile to invest in the Nameless Glory depends on individual preferences and playstyle. The paid option offers extra rewards like exclusive light cones, more ascension materials, and special star rail passes that can be used to obtain new characters or light cones. Nonetheless, obtaining these rewards requires a financial investment.

Players who are willing to spend money and are interested in extra rewards and a sense of progression may consider the Nameless Glory valuable. Conversely, players who do not want to spend money or do not feel the need for additional rewards may not see the need to purchase the Nameless Glory, especially as they have access to higher Equilibrium levels, which can provide many of the materials listed in the rewards with fewer Trailblaze points. Ultimately, the most notable aspect of the Nameless Glory is the exclusive 4-star light cones, which some players may find worth spending real money on in the game. However, there are similar light cones available even to free-to-play players that may perform better in several instances.

Which Light Cone To Pick From Nameless Glory?

When players reach level 30 in Honkai: Star Rail's Nameless Glory, they are given the option to choose from seven different light cones, each based on a specific path. The choice of which light cone to select is influenced by a player's individual play style and the characters in their roster. Before making a decision, players should carefully consider the stats and passive abilities of each light cone and determine how well they align with their desired playstyle. They should also take into account which characters they have and which light cone would benefit them the most.

For instance, Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds is an excellent choice for Harmony characters, especially Tingyun, since it complements her abilities. Meanwhile, This Is Me! can be highly advantageous for Fire Trailblazer or March 7th, or any other upcoming preservation character that scales with DEF.

All Nameless Glory Light Cones

Here is a comprehensive list of all available light cones, including their path ability, stats, and priority. This should help players determine which ones to prioritize when choosing.

Warmth Shortens Cold Nights

Honkai Star Rail Warmth Shortens Cold Nights
Warmth Shortens Cold Nights
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 1058 HP - 370 ATK - 396 DEF
  • Path: Abundance
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's Max HP by 16%. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies' HP by an amount equal to 2.0% of their respective Max HP.
  • Priority: Low

Even though players can choose the Warmth Shortens Cold Nights, it may not be the most ideal option to select due to the limited number of Abundance characters at present. As an alternative, Post-Op Conservation or Quid Pro Quo (which can be obtained for free through the Forgotten Hall rewards) may be more suitable. However, if players want to invest in the available healers, Natasha and Bailu, who both scale with HP, the Warmth Shortens Cold Nights might still be a viable option for them.

We Will Meet Again

Honkai Star Rail We Will Meet Again
We Will Meet Again
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 846 HP - 529 ATK - 330 DEF
  • Path: Nihility
  • Ability (S1): After the wearer uses Basic ATK or Skill, the wearer deals 48% of ATK as additional DMG to a random enemy that is attacked by abilities.
  • Priority: Low

Obtaining Nihility characters is currently challenging due to their limited availability, which often requires players to rely on gacha pulls. Although this light cone may be beneficial for Nihility sub-DPS, it only enhances their Skill and not their Ultimate. Moreover, it does not offer any extra advantages compared to the F2P 4-star Nihility light cone Fermata, which offers a more potent Break Effect buff. Nevertheless, it could still be a favorable choice for forthcoming characters such as Kafka.

This Is Me!

This Is Me!
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 846 HP - 370 ATK - 529 DEF
  • Path: Preservation
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's DEF by 16%. Increases the DMG of the wearer when they use their Ultimate by 60% of the wearer's DEF. This effect only apply 1 time per enemy target.
  • Priority: High

Several 4-star light cones are available for players focusing on Preservation, but the Warm Iron Sword may be particularly advantageous for those using freely available characters like March 7th and Fire Trailblazer, as it improves their damage and shielding capabilities by scaling with DEF. However, since there are other viable Preservation light cones that can be obtained, players may also want to consider 4-star light cones that are suitable for characters from a different path that do not have a good 4-star or 5-star light cone option available.

Return to Darkness!

Honkai Star Rail Return To Darkness

  • Stats (Lvl 80): 846 HP - 529 ATK - 370 DEF
  • Path: Hunt
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12%. After a CRIT Hit, there is a 16% fixed chance to dispel 1 buff on the target enemy. This effect can only trigger once per attack.
  • Priority: Medium

For novice players who rely on Hunt characters as their primary DPS in most gameplay, Return the Darkness is a viable option. It boosts Crit rate, which increases damage output, and has a chance to dispel enemies, a feature that Hunt characters usually lack. However, to ensure that this ability remains effective, players must invest in the light cone several times through different Nameless Honor durations. In the long run, F2P 5-star options like Cruising in the Stellar Sea offer more benefits without costing real money and provide higher stats. Nevertheless, players who prioritize other light cones or use multiple Hunt characters for different teams may still find it worthwhile.

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds!

Honkai Star Rail Carve The Moon Weave The Clouds
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds!
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 952 HP - 476 ATK - 330 DEF
  • Path: Harmony
  • Ability (S1): At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer's turn begins, one of the following effects is applied randomly: All allies' ATK increases by 10%, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 12%, or all allies' Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 6%. The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied, and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of the similar type cannot be stacked.
  • Priority: High

If players are looking for a universal light cone option to buff their team members without any significant conditions, Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds is an excellent choice for Harmony characters. It offers a powerful random buff, similar to Genshin Impact's The Widsith. However, this light cone requires high speed to fully benefit, making it a great fit for characters like Tingyun. As Tingyun and Bronya are highly desirable, players who manage to get them without a suitable light cone may want to consider using Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds.

Nowhere to Run

Honkai Star Rail Nowhere To Run
Nowhere to Run
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 952 HP - 529 ATK - 264 DEF
  • Path: Destruction
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK.
  • Priority: Medium

Players who want to use Destruction characters can consider using Nowhere to Run, but it may not be the optimal choice for most players due to the limited demand for these characters, except for Clara. However, if players have Clara but lack her signature light cone, Something Irreplaceable, Nowhere to Run can be a great alternative. It provides a boost in attack and restores HP, which may be more advantageous compared to the free 5-star Destruction light cone from Herta's store, On the Fall of an Aeon, as its secondary effect is easier to activate in battles involving multiple enemies, enhancing the character's survivability.

Today Is Another Peaceful Day

Honkai Star Rail Today Is Another Peaceful Day
Today Is Another Peaceful Day
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 952 HP - 529 ATK - 264 DEF
  • Path: Erudition
  • Ability (S1): After entering battle, increases the wearer's DMG based on their Max Energy. DMG increases by 0.20% per point of Energy, up to 160 Energy.
  • Priority: Low

Compared to other Nameless Glory light cones, Today Is Another Peaceful Day isn't as appealing because there are other viable 4-star options that can be obtained for free through leveling up or participating in events. For instance, completing Trailblaze Mission or redeeming rewards from the Forgotten Hall Store can get players The Seriousness of Breakfast light cone, and participating in the All Stars Invite Web Event can earn them Serval's signature light cone, Make the World Clamor, for free. Although Today Is Another Peaceful Day provides a high DMG boost for characters with a large energy gauge, it may not be as valuable for those with a smaller energy gauge.
