FIFA 20 is the latest edition of the long-running football video game FIFA franchise by Electronic Arts. Many people have complained about different aspects of the game and EA in general. But it doesn't stop players flocking to the franchise every year.

Fifa 20 System Requirements 1
FIFA has been a mainstay for football gaming fans for years now

And if you are looking for FIFA 20 system requirements to join the flock, then there's some good news. If your PC hardware could run FIFA 19 well, then there's a very good chance you can run FIFA 20 no probs. The latest game, graphically speaking (or even gameplay-wise), hasn't deviated much from the year before.

But it's still important to make sure you can meet FIFA 20 minimum requirements because it never hurts to check. You could be playing FIFA for the 1st time ever. What is FIFA 20?

FIFA 20 Game Details

Release date: 27th September 2019 (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)
Genre: Sports
Developer: EA Vancouver, EA Romania
Publisher: EA Sports

Similar to previous FIFA games, FIFA 20 makes improvements on gameplay elements rather than being innovative. It does introduce a pretty interesting new game mode called VOLTA that lets you experience street football action. It is pretty similar to the older FIFA Street games, but it's not entirely a clone of those games. There are options to play 5v5, 4v4, or 3v3 in multiple pitches from 17 locations all over the world

Volta is a pretty fun feature in FIFA 20 but feels like a gimmick

FIFA 20 also added two new game modes. One is King of the Hill, in which players must navigate a random area on the pitch to fight for possession. The other is Mystery Ball where attacking players get random boosts to their shooting, speed, dribbling or shooting. This makes the matches feel more random and unpredictable.

On the other hand, FIFA games are morphing into just FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) more and more. Ultimate Team is the focus of EA again for the latest FIFA game, with new legends cards joining the icon players. E.g. John Barnes, Ian Rush, Kenny Daglish...

Once again, FUT is the focal point of this edition

This also means Career Mode feels like an afterthought in FIFA 20, when it used to be one of the most important game modes. It feels pretty much the same as previous career modes with useful features randomly disappearing every year.

There are still up-to-date teams and players, except for Juventus, Boca Juniors and River Plate migrating to PES 2020. When creating your manager, there are some visual updates this time. Your team's morale is much more important now since players play a part in interviews, press conferences or private chats.

A fast and stable internet connection is probably one of the most important requirements for online playing. Your internet needs a speed of at least 512kbps to even install and play FIFA 2020. Fifa 20 System Requirements Comparison
You can see clear graphical differences here

As you can see, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 is what you need to play the game at the highest settings. An AMD Radeon R9 270X is the AMD equivalent of what you need for recommended. But to truly enjoy the game at consistent 60 FPS and highest resolutions and settings, you might need more.

A PC build that includes the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X CPU, a Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX 590 graphics card and 16 GB RAM should ensure FIFA 20 plays as smoothly as humanly possible, without lags or hiccups.
