'Malang' had been a resounding success at the box office, and star actress Disha Patani is elated with the result. The movie became the third film this year to make more than Rs 50 crores and it is still bringing in seats at the movie theaters.

“I’m very happy that the film has succeeded and people are liking it. We all have worked really hard. At the end of the day, we want people to go to the theatres and come out really happy,” said Disha in a recent interview.

Disha Patani in 'Ek Villain 2' is "no truth"

Because of the movie's success, there have been rumors that director of 'Malang,' Mohit Suri signed Disha for the next Ek Villain sequel. Despite being the sequel, Ek Villain 2 will be a standalone story and it will feature star actors Aditya Roy Kapur and John Abraham.

But Disha Patani herself has rejected such rumors. On appearing in Mohit Suri's next 'Ek Villain,' Disha said: “There is no truth, as of now”. Instead, Disha will be in Prabhu Deva's upcoming 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' with veteran actor Salman Khan.

'Baaghi 3' plagiarism row

Beforehand, a 'Baaghi 3' music video called 'Do You Love Me' starring Disha Patani got involved in a plagiarism accusation. The music video that features Disha is the third track of the movie and a remake of an older song. However, British EM producer Troyboi accused the music video is a rip-off of his 2015 version of the original Lebanese song.

However, producers of Baaghi 3 fired back with saying they bought full rights to the song. Diet Sabya, an Instagram page that consistently points out plagiarism in Bollywood did some detective work. They put together scenes from both videos to show similarities here:
