Forbes has long been an extremely trustworthy source of information for us to check the amount of income of famous people. As the gaming and esports industry gets bigger and bigger every day, popular gamers can be considered as celebrities now. And of course, that means the income of these famous gamers can never be little.
Just recently, Forbes has just released its new report about the 10 most-earning gamers in 2019 on January 29th. This top 10 list of Forbes includes six famous Youtubers and four popular streamers on other streaming platforms. The first notable thing of this list is that it does not feature people who are only pro gamers. This is why you do not see famous pro gamers like Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf of Fortnite or team OG of Dota 2.
This list does features familiar faces that we have all seen for years like Tyler “Ninja“ Blevins, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, but the rankings are much more interesting in 2019 list.
Last year, we have seen Tyler “Ninja“ Blevins a lot more. He appears on the Red Bull cans in the stores, he signed the deal with Adidas and PSD (an underwear brand). But the most important event for Tyler “Ninja“ Blevins was that he left Twitch to join Mixer for an exclusive streaming partnership. Tyler “Ninja“ Blevins was the number one streamer on Twitch, so Mixer had to pay this man a huge amount of money for that exclusive streaming deal. The viewership of this streamer might have gone down a bit, but his popularity only goes up. That is why Tyler “Ninja“ Blevins is the most well-earned gamer in 2019, putting Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg to the second spot.
Let’s go to the list right below.
