The new star of Mixer - Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek – has just said on his recent broadcast that the livestream industry was changing rapidly, and this industry would look very much different in the future. Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek said this on his livestream because Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, another huge streamer on Twitch, just packed his bags and went to Youtube for an exclusive streaming deal.
After Tyler 'Ninja’ Blevins, Mixer opened its arms and welcomed Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek with another exclusive streaming deal. Twitch has always been the number one streaming platform on earth, and Mixer’s focus is to demolish that position of Twitch. That is why the two biggest streamers of Twitch are now only streaming on Mixer. Mixer has made the competition in the streaming industry get hotter, so Youtube has to do something too if they do not want to be left behind. Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop is a good choice for Youtube.
But we are still at the beginning of this war only. Twitch still has a lot of big streamers, but they can leave Twitch whenever they are offered a better deal. That was why Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek firmly said on his November 4th livestream that there would be more streamers leaving Twitch for better places. The Mixer streamer was watching the announcing video of Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop when he dropped his comment about the incident.
The Mixer streamer did not forget to conclude that this was only the beginning. We have exclusive streaming deals now, and that means big streamers now are treated like superstars and big celebs (to be fair, they actually are). The streaming platforms have to work hard to keep them, and the streamers also have to work hard to produce good content. In the end, viewers like us get the most benefit from this competition.
