Genshin Impact 2.8 Leak Reveals Heizou’s Elemental Skill, Talents And Materials

After Heizou's official reveal, several new Genshin Impact leaks have popped up to reveal all of his abilities. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase everything revealed so far about Genshin Impact Heizou character. Take note that Heizou is in development and any of his statistics could be changed at any time.

1. Heizou normal and charged attacks

Unlike the other Catalyst users in Genshin Impact who shoot projectiles, Heizou has some unique flashy and physical movements. His normal attacks look like something in a martial art movie. This probably makes Heizou the first melee catalyst user, as all his attacks have short range.

His charged attack is an upward kick, which releases a big slash of Anemo. As he is a Catalyst user, all his attacks deal Anemo damage.

2. Heizou Elemental Skill

Tap

• Wields the swift winds to launch a Heartstopper Strike that deals Anemo DMG.

Hold

• Charges energy to unleash an even stronger blow. He will obtain the Declension effect while charging, which will increase the power of the Heartstopper Strike.
• When the skill button is released or the skill finishes charging, he will strike forward, dealing Anemo DMG.

Declension

• Increases the power of the next Heartstopper Strike. Max 4 stacks.
• When you possess 4 Declension stacks, the Conviction effect will be produced, which will cause the next Heartstopper Strike to be even stronger and have a larger AoE.

3. Heizou Elemental Burst

Heizou's Burst launches him into the air with a powerful kick, sending out an AoE Anemo attack. If it hits a foe under the effect of Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro, they will be inflicted with the Windmuster Iris debuff. This debuff would explode and deal AoE damage of whatever element triggered the buff.

Up to four enemies can be affected by Windmuster Iris. This is a spammable Burst, with a cooldown of only 12 seconds and 40 Energy cost. Overall, Heizou is probably an Anemo DPS similar to Xiao, with a skill set focusing on spamming his ability and burst.

4. Heizou Passives

• Pre-Existing Guilt: Decreases Stamina consumption when sprinting by 20%. This effect is identical to Kazuha, Kaeya, and Razor's passive and does not stack.
• Paradoxical Practice: This effect gives him one declension stack whenever he triggers Swirl. Can only activate once every 0.1 seconds.
• Penetrative Reasoning: Increases the Elemental Mastery of all allies (except Heizou) by 80 for 10 seconds whenever he hits an enemy with his Elemental Skill.

5. Heizou Constellations

Named Juvenile Casebook

For 5 seconds after Shikanoin Heizou takes the field, his Normal Attack SPD is increased by 15%. He also gains 1 Declension stack for Heartstopper Strike. This effect can be triggered once every 10 seconds.

Investigative Collection

When the Fudou Style Vacuum Slugger created by Windmuster Kick explodes, it will pull nearby opponents in.

Esoteric Puzzle Book

Increases the Level of Heartstopper Strike by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Tome of Lies

The first Windmuster Iris explosion in each Windmuster Kick will regenerate 9 Elemental Energy for Shikanoin Heizou. Every subsequent explosion in that Windmuster Kick will each regenerate an additional 1.5 Energy for Heizou. One Windmuster Kick can regenerate a total of 13.5 Energy for Heizou in this manner.

Secret Archive

Increases the Level of Windmuster Kick by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Curious Casefiles

Each Declension stack will increase the CRIT Rate of the Heartstopper Strike unleashed by 4%. When Heizou possesses Conviction, this Heartstopper Strike’s CRIT DMG is increased by 32%.

6. Where to Farm Heizou's Materials

Heizou's materials mostly revolve around a few types of items: Transience books, Raven Insignias, and Onikabuto bugs.

Treasure Hoarder, Silver Raven, and Golden Raven Insignia

• To get Treasure Hoarder and Silver Raven Insignias, you need to hunt down and beat Treasure Hoarders that are Level 40 or more. The Golden Raven are dropped by Treasure Hoarders level 60 and above. They can be found roaming Liyue. You can also turn Treasure Horder Insignias into Silver Raven Insignias.

Vayuda Turquoise Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones

• These pesky gems are found as rewards for defeating the following: Stormterror Dvalin, Anemo Hypostasis, and Maguu Kenki. These battles can be redone, and farming these items is necessary for the Anemo characters. Slivers can be purchased at the souvenir shops, which can make this a little easier. You can use the lesser items to craft the greater, too.

Onikabuto

• These cute, purple beetles are found in areas of Electro energy - specifically on trees. They are only in the Inazuma region. Their respawn rate is every two days, but there are plenty across Yashiori, Kannazuka, and Narukami islands.

Runic Fangs

• This particular item is a new ascension material. It is a drop from defeating the Ruin Serpent located in the Chasm's Underground Mines.

Tears Of The Calamitous God

• This particular item is a reward from level 70 and above of the End of the Oneiric Euthymia.

Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Transience Books

• These items drop from Violet Court. They are available Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. You can use the Teachings to craft Guides, and Guides to craft Philosophies as well.

Crown Of Insight

• Crowns of Insight is a pesky item to obtain. Players can only get them through limited-time events, or Offerings such as the Frostbearing Tree and Sacred Sakura.
