Behaviour Interactive has confirmed it will adjust the 2B Legendary Outfit for Feng Min in Dead by Daylight after significant player criticism. The change aims to make the cosmetic closer to the original character from NieR:Automata.

The NieR:Automata Collection Launch

The NieR:Automata Collection went live on October 6, 2026. It adds cosmetics rather than new Survivors or Killers. Feng Min receives a full Legendary 2B outfit with unique voice lines, music, HUD elements, and menu animations. Yui Kimura gets an A2 Legendary Outfit, and The Legion receives an Emil inspired look. Players welcomed the crossover but quickly focused on the quality of the 2B model.

Fan Backlash Over Proportions and Details

Criticism appeared almost immediately on social media, the official forums, and Japanese community spaces. Players said the outfit failed to capture 2B’s iconic proportions, silhouette, face, hair, and clothing textures. Many compared it unfavorably to the A2 skin, which received stronger feedback. Comments described the model as stiff, off model, or not faithful enough for a premium Legendary cosmetic priced at 1,485 Auric Cells. The hashtag style push for fixes spread quickly as fans shared side by side comparisons with the NieR:Automata original.

Official Response and Planned Changes

Community Manager Mandy responded directly on the official Dead by Daylight forums. She stated that the team would make adjustments to the 2B Legendary outfit for Feng Min to bring it closer to the original character’s appearance. Mandy noted there is no exact release date but expected the changes in Bugfix Patch #2, with the possibility of further work in a later update. The response acknowledges the feedback and positions the fix as a relatively quick post launch correction rather than a full redesign.

The planned update shows Behaviour Interactive responding to player pressure on a high profile crossover. Exact visual changes have not been detailed yet, but the goal is clearer fidelity to the source material. Fans who already purchased the outfit will receive the revised version once it ships, while others may wait to see the updated model before buying.
