He suggested October 2026 as a possible release window, though it’s just a guess. This clashes with YouTuber Luke Stephens, who claims he’s got a source at Rockstar saying they’re on track for May 2026. Unless something goes terribly wrong last minute, the official date should still hold, according to Stephens.

Delays aren’t new for Rockstar. Big titles like Grand Theft Auto V (2013) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) got pushed back too. Rockstar’s reasoning? They want to deliver super polished games without bugs that ruin the fun.
