The long-awaited second phase of the Honkai: Star Rail × Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works collaboration is officially dropping in Version 4.4, launching on July 24, 2026. Following the massive success of the first part with Saber and Archer, HoYoverse is bringing two iconic characters: Tohsaka Rin and Gilgamesh (the King of Heroes) as playable 5-star units.
Players can log in during the event (running through Version 4.6) to claim one free 5-star collab character: either Gilgamesh or Archer. Rin will be limited banner-only.

- Skill: Adjacent damage + grants himself 30% DEF ignore for 3 turns
- Ultimate: AoE damage + 10-hit bounce (very high energy cost of 600)
- Talent: Auto Basic ATK at the start of his turn. Gains stacks every time an ally takes action. At 10 stacks he gets an extra turn.
- Playstyle: Hypercarry DPS. Works without Saber. Can dual-DPS with any energy-overcapping teammate. Strong for wave clearing and burst.
Rin Tohsaka (Quantum Erudition)
- Strongly wants to be paired with Archer (she buffs him more than he buffs her)
- Base stats preview: 698 ATK / 102 SPD / 8% Quantum DMG / 18% ATK / 37% CRIT DMG / 160 Energy
- AoE-focused Erudition damage dealer with gem-style resource mechanics (early leaks confirmed)

Synergy & Pull Advice
Rin + Archer is expected to be a very strong team. Gilgamesh is a good free pull choice for Saber, while Rin is the main limited banner target for Erudition and Quantum players.
