The battle system receives meaningful upgrades for better flow and accessibility. Players can now use a Guard option in dungeons to block or counter incoming attacks and potentially avoid encounters. Baton Pass lets party members hand off turns after hitting weaknesses to build toward devastating All-Out Attacks. Send Flying spreads status effects from one enemy to others, while Prime Time fills a gauge that triggers a powerful barrage of attacks with zero skill cost and the ability to bypass resistances.
