PUBG 30.2 update features

The free-to-play version of PUBG recently launched update 30.2, which includes several game-changing adjustments. Key tactical items such as the EMT Gear, Tactical Pack, and All-In-One Repair Kit have made a return with tweaks: the Tactical Pack now offers increased attachment slots, the EMT Gear features reduced healing and revival times, and the All-In-One Repair Kit has been limited to three uses per match.

The collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini brought exclusive in-game crates and vehicle skins, while the new Clan System reduced the cost of creating a clan to 4,500 BP.

What’s more, the PUBG 30.2 update introduced 2D Replay for thorough match reviews, along with a lot of bug fixes and other enhancements aimed at enhancing the overall user in-game experience.

PUBG Fantasy Battle Royale Mode

The PUBG Fantasy Battle Royale mode features a unique experience featuring four distinct classes: Barbarian, Wizard, Ranger, and Paladin with their own strengths and abilities:

  • Barbarian: excels in close-quarters combat with a longsword.
  • Wizard: can unleash powerful fire spells.
  • Ranger: specializes in precise long-range attacks using the Dragonslayer crossbow.
  • Paladin: supports teammates with healing and assistance.

In this mode, matches take place on Dragon’s Isle (Erangel) in teams of four, accommodating up to 80 players.

As mentioned earlier, the Fantasy Battle Royale mode will be available for two weeks on PC, running from July 24 to August 7, and on consoles from July 31 to August 14.

Fans who enjoyed the Fantasy Battle Royale mode during its first release are likely to welcome its return eagerly. This revival comes after the reintroduction of the original Erangel map in May, which brought back classic in-game elements.

These continuous updates showcase PUBG's dedication to its 2024 roadmap, which pledges combat updates every two months. Furthermore, the studio is actively improving the gaming experience. For instance, in March, PUBG reported a significant step forward by banning 3.2 million cheaters in 2023, marking a 33% increase from the previous year.
