Apex Legends - a team-based battle royale game - is made up of different heroic characters with unique abilities. There are eight characters in Apex Legends, six of which are available at the beginning and the other two can be unlocked through the in-game currency.

One of those is Lifeline, so-called Ajay Che. She is a support character who is controversially the finest to begin with because of the amount of simplicity and utility she possesses as her kit.

Being a medic character, Lifeline’s special strength is her power to keep the squad in a fight by providing shields and heals. This is a must-try character that anyone should have in their teams as having at least one medic in the squad has always been a good idea.

Passive Ability - Combat Medic

Revive knocked down teammates faster while protected by a shield wall. Healing items are used 25% faster.”

Possessing a passive ability, this character builds a shield for your ally when reviving them in order to increase the chance of saving them. In association with the Q shield ability of Gibralter, this can be very helpful in a jam that brings your team back to full strength. This passive also has the bonus of providing players a 25% increase in speed while using healing items.

Tactical Ability - D.O.C. Heal Drone

“Call your Drone of Compassion to automatically heal nearby teammates over time.”

Though not the best tactical ability, this may still be really useful in many different situations. Its heal is sluggish, and hence, not a lifesaver in combat. However, it will absolutely support your teammates in saving on other health-enhancing items which can be helpful in further stages of the match. Another helpful tip in close range firefights is dropping the drone. This will provide you with a slow heal when firing at your enemies. Since this drone is unable to be destroyed, it could keep you healed when taking shots.

Ultimate Ability - Care Package

“Call in a drop pod full of high-quality defensive gear.”

The Ultimate Ability of Lifeline provides your team or anyone who gets it first a Care Package. This can be considered as a collection of powerful loot or healing to increase your odds of winning that match. As the match goes, players will find their Ultimate Ability more useless. The reason is that giving their position away and dropping the Care Package is something they want to do last in the final circle. However, it could be used to make a makeshift cover. Otherwise, it still goes against its original purpose - getting players powerful loot.
