As strange as it may seem, students at the Blaenau Gwent Film Academy in Tredegar, Wales was able to buy a short story of Stephen King, named Stationary Bike, with only $1. The story is named Stationary Bike, and it is one of the stories collected in the Just After Sunset collection.

LA Times used Mashable to announce that Alfie Evans, who is 16 years old and Cerys Cliff, who is even two years younger, just 14 years old are the writers of the film’s screenplay. It is also estimated that the project will involve the work of 30 students.

This project was actually a small part of King's Dollar Babies project. The project first started over 40 years ago to support young filmmakers the right to access t stories of Stephen King. These stories are also required not to be present in any existing movie contracts.

It was the same program that gave Frank Darabont the right to use King’s story named The Woman in the Room and transferred it into a short film back in 1983. The late Darabont was also famous for his work as the director of The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and The Mist: three highly successful Stephen King adaptations.
