Everybody is talking about the new conflict between Marvel and Sony about the copyright for Spider Man character. If the two parties cannot reach a new agreement about the copyright of this character, Sony will take back Spider Man back for its own. Tom Holland's contract for playing Spider Man is still in effect for another two more movies, so if Sony makes standalone Spider Man movies, it will have to abandon all MCU elements of Spider-Man character now.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has been a really successful character of MCU since his debut in Captain America: Civil War, so let's take a look at what Sony cannot feature in the standalone Spider Man movies of this company.

Iron man's legacy for Spider-Man

This is surely the first factor that can never appear in any standalone Spider-Man movie from now on. Tony Stark is like the god father of Peter Parker in MCU: he introduced this kid to MCU, made him an Avenger, and then sacrificed himself to save Peter and all other. Both the standalone Spider Man movies in MCU are about how Peter Parker rolling himself around Tony Stark. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, it was a journey to team up with Tony Stark so that Peter could make him proud. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, it was a journey to find out how important Tony Stark actually was.

No Iron Man for Sony, of course

If Sony's standalone Spider-Man movies feature anything about Iron Man, they will certainly be killed by the MCU fans. Tony Stark is a untouchable statue of MCU now.

Relationships with other characters of MCU

Not just Iron Man, Sony's standalone movies about Spider-Man will have to eliminate all Marvel's superheroes that Spider-Man has encountered in MCU. That means there will be no Captain America, no Captain Marvel, no Star Lord or any members of the Guardians of the Galaxy member. Sony can make Spider-Man movies with classic Spider Man villains like Doctor Otto Octavius or Sandman, but there hardly can be a MCU character showing up in the Sony's standalone Spider-Man movies.

No Star Lord for Sony too, of course

Traveling to the outer Space

In Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, we have seen that Tom Holland's Spider Man got the chance to leave earth - something that no other Spider-Men have even done in the big screens. Sony's standalone Spider-Man movies in the future are likely not to have this feature.

The cool villains of MCU's Spider-Man

In two Spider-Man standalone movies of Tom Holland, we have seen two iconic villains of Spider Man - Vulture and Mysterio - being portrayed as the result of Tony Stark. These two villains supposed to be two of the Sinister Six - the famous villain group in Marvel. But as these two villains have been made based on the legacy of Tony Stark, there is no way they can show up in the Sony's standalone Spider Man movies in the future, which means there will be no chance for the Sinister Six in Sony's movies in the future.

Without Vulture and Mysterio, there cant be Sinister Six for Sony in the future

The Snap of Thanos and the Blip of Hulk

The best things in MCU now are the Snap of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and the Blip of Hulk in Avengers: Endgame. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, we have seen so much change for Peter Parker and his friends after five years they do not exist. The Snap and the Blip have become a meme in both MCU and among the fans of MCU in real life. If Spider Man has to return to Sony completely, there will be no the Snap and the Blip at all, and it would be super awkward for Sony. They cannot mention it at all, but if they dont mention it, its Spider-Man movies can never be as good as MCU's Spider Man movies.
