Marvel fans have been anticipating Marvel Rivals, a shooter game where Marvel heroes and antagonists fight against each other in 6v6 battles. Inspired by the Marvel series, the upcoming game will feature famous Marvel locations like Tokyo 2099 and Yggsgard alongside transformable environments. The Marvel Rivals lineup includes well-known characters such as Iron Man, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Namor, and Black Panther. If you’re eager to know about their in-game appearance and abilities, the good news is that NetEase has released a new Marvel Rivals trailer about Hela - “Queen of Hel”, one of the characters that would debut in the game.

In the trailer, Hela uses her daggers for primary attacks, and for the alternative fire, she throws multiple daggers at once to kill the foes from afar. Hela also possesses a special teleport which allows her to morph into one of Odin’s ravens to unleash aerial attacks. Speaking of Hela's skills, she can create an orb that causes area damage. When activating her ultimate, she ascends into the air and launches four bigger orbs downward, inflicting substantial damage on her opponents.
Appearance-wise, Hela in the Marvel Rivals game dons her signature green and black costume along with a crown, making her look menacing. When engaged in combat, she will carry her sword to lead attacks on the enemies.
The Marvel Rivals trailer also reveals a duelist with captivating mobility, and a diverse array of tools to pressure enemies while maintaining her own defenses, promising to earn favor among players.
In general, through Hela’s gameplay trailer, we can see that NetEase tried its best to depict this villain like what fans know in comics and movies. According to the leaks, the closed alpha of the Marvel Rivals game will soon start and Hela will be one of the playable characters. Stay tuned!
