Playing AAA games in internet browser is the dream of so many people, especially people with bad PC hardware. But for a long time, that dream was still be dream, since the technology is not advance enough. And Google's latest project - Project Stream might be the breakthough that we awaited, since the result is already so good when tested with Assasin's Creed Odyssey.

That's the things most people agree on, after the early testing phase of this project. Jason Schreier, a journalist from Kotaku, tried the project out on his Macbook Air from 2013. First, he tried it on his home internet, and then at his office. According to him, the result is really impressive, with few latency issue. Of course, the game on browser doesn't reach 60fps, with no graphic settings. But for a AAA game running on brower of a Macbook, this is really outstanding.

Also, one problem with games running on Project Stream, that is input lag. The delay is not much, but enough for players to realize. The internet bandwidth requirement is a problem, too, or else the stream will end and lead to this screen:

Considering Project Stream is still on its early phase, all those problems are understandable. The next step is to resolve the bandwidth problem, which can cause people with no high speed internet lower frame rate and more input delay than others.

And if Google success with this project, they will open up a new future, where hardware problem are not the things anymore. Anyone can play any games they wants, without worrying about hardware requirements.

What a time to be living, right?
