BGMI 3.9 Transformers Mode Complete Guide

Make sure your game’s updated to version 3.9, released on July 16, 2025. Grab it from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). It’s about 1.1 GB, so use Wi-Fi and check you’ve got enough space. Restart the game after updating to unlock the new stuff.

Access Transformers Mode

You can jump into Transformers mode on Erangel, Livik, or Sanhok in Ranked or Unranked matches. Pick one of these maps from the mode selection screen to get started.

Locate Spacebridge Beacon

To call in Optimus Prime or Megatron, you need a Spacebridge Beacon. These are in Neon Outposts, loot-heavy spots split into Arena, Black Market, and Energy Plant. The Arena has the best gear but is wide open, so it’s risky. For safer looting, hit the Black Market or Energy Plant.

Summon Transformers

Once you snag a Spacebridge Beacon, wait for the game to signal “Connection to Cybertron established” (you’ll see the sky change). Use the beacon to summon either Optimus Prime, Megatron, a Cybertronian Supply Crate, or an Energon Supply Crate. Only two players per match can control a Transformer, so it’s a race.

Control and Upgrade Transformers

Optimus Prime turns into a truck and swings a thermal axe for close-up fights. His Charge Slam ultimate lets him dash fast to close gaps and slow enemies like Megatron.
Megatron becomes a tank and fires a cannon for long-range attacks. His Triple Fusion Blast ultimate pushes him back and slows enemies like Optimus Prime.

Grab Energon around the map to level up your Transformer and unlock their Ultimate Skill. If a Transformer’s health drops to zero, you can heal and redeploy them in recovery mode.

Engage in Nemesis Showdown

If both Optimus Prime and Megatron are in the match, a Duel Zone (Nemesis Showdown) pops up on Erangel, pitting Autobots against Decepticons. Pick a side and fight it out until one wins. It’s a big strategic moment.

Utilize New Features

Neon Outpost: This cyberpunk zone has Arena (a boxing ring for intense fights), Black Market (futuristic shops), Energy Plant, and Astro Den (melee-only). Some spots have portals for mini-games or teleporting to space for escapes or ambushes. Portals shut down late-game.
Cosmic Hoverboard: A fast vehicle for flips and reaching rooftops, great for moving around quickly.
Anti-Gravity Spires: Floating towers for redeploy dives to cover the map faster.

Strategic Tips for Winning

Team Up: Transformers are tough, but you’ll need your squad to take one down. Work together.
Pick Smart Drops: If you’re not great in high-pressure fights, skip the Arena and loot at Black Market or Energy Plant.
Know Transformer Limits: Transformers can’t be used in the endgame to keep things fair. Learn their strengths—Optimus for close combat, Megatron for ranged.
Use Portals Smartly: Portals in Neon Outposts can help you escape or set up attacks, but they’re only active early to mid-game.
Grab Transformer Tokens: Collect these for the Legendary Trial to earn rewards and achievements.
