Clash Royale is turning up the volume for May 2026 with Season 83, officially kicking off on Monday, May 4. The season brings a fresh music-themed twist centered on the fan-favorite tanky troop, complete with a brand-new Hero variant and a full lineup of events designed to keep players battling nonstop.
The centerpiece is the Bowler's Mixtape Album Event, running from May 4 to May 25. This limited-time Album Event lets you collect puzzle pieces called Snippets through daily battle rewards, special challenges, event prizes, and in-game shop offers. Snap them together to complete themed scenes that trace the Bowler's wild musical journey from the lanes to the court. Finish every set for instant rewards like Gold, Lucky Chests, Evolution Shards, and more. Complete the entire mixtape to unlock the grand prize for free: Hero Bowler (also known as LeBowler).
Hero Bowler keeps the same base stats as the classic Bowler but gains a powerful new ability called Stone Swish. For just 2 Elixir, he plants his feet and unleashes long-range boulders that reach out to 11.5 tiles. The rocks deal circular area damage on impact (different from the normal rolling line damage), with a temporary 30 percent hit speed boost during the 9-second activation. It delivers strong tower damage (up to 768 total if all four rocks land) and even higher damage to troops, making him a versatile siege tool that can lock down ground control from afar. Duplicates convert into Hero Coins and extra Bowler cards, so active players have multiple paths to the new Hero.
If you want to speed things up, you can buy extra Snippets in the shop or unlock Hero Bowler instantly with 200 Hero Coins. The event runs shorter than some past Albums (just three weeks), so stay consistent with battles and challenges to avoid missing out on the free unlock.
