Dungeons & Dragons-Inspired RPG Warriors of Waterdeep Is Now On Mobile

Game developer Ludia has announced that its new game Warriors of Waterdeep, a turn-based RPG for mobile inspired by the massively popular Dungeons & Dragons, is now available globally on both Google Play and the App Store. This release marks the first collaboration between the studio and Wizards of The Coast, a lead publisher in the fantasy and sci-fi video game genre.

The story of Warriors of Waterdeep begins as the Waterdeep city is under threat from the powerful forces of evil that originated from the Forgotten Realms. Now, it is up to the players to assemble a squad of heroes to defeat these monsters in tactical, turn-based battles.

The game features 8 playable characters for you to adventure as. These characters are divided into 8 unique classes, which consist of the Fighter, the Barbarian, the Cleric, the Rogue, the Ranger, the Bard, the Wizard, and the Warlock. Needless to say, each offers its own unique abilities, and as you progress you will be able to level them up to increase their powers.

You can also upgrade the characters by equipping them with cards, which represent weapons, armor, and other items. These cards can be obtained by completing quests, defeating bosses, or purchasing card packs.

Warriors of Waterdeep also features a multitude of game modes for you to play through. Aside from the main campaign, you can jump into the Challenge mode to test your limits or participate in PvP battles.

Warriors of Waterdeep is currently available both Google Play and the App Store. This is a free game that also comes with in-app purchases and a VIP subscription model.
