Who’s the Best in Etheria: Restart?

This turn-based gacha game had a huge lineup of SSR, SR, and R characters during its beta, and with only four or five spots on your team, choosing the right ones for the full launch can be tricky. We’ve got you covered with a tier list ranking all Animus based on their strength and usefulness in different modes.

Figuring out the top-tier characters also helps you decide which Etheria: Restart banners to spend your pulls on and who deserves your upgrade materials and currency. Once you’ve got your squad picked out, check our list of Etheria: Restart codes for extra summons when the game officially drops.

Here’s the full breakdown of our Etheria: Restart tier list:

This tier list focuses on core gameplay and ranks characters by how much they help in early-game single-player content. For PvP rankings, check the section below.

Note: These ranks are based on community feedback and our experience from the Etheria: Restart beta. We’re still sorting out ranks for the full release and will update this soon.

Which Etheria: Restart SSR Should I Pick?

Ss Cb975d98ed097707411f7d3337d9327b0a9ac4a6 1920x1

In the beta, Etheria: Restart had a Directed Summon banner where you could target one SSR and were guaranteed to get them within 40 pulls.

For the best SSR, go for a character who ranks high in both single-player and PvP to carry you through most of the game’s content.

Top SSR Recommendations

  • Celince: A support who slaps enemies with debuffs like attack break, crit rate down, and a silence that shuts down their passives. Her shield absorbs and reflects damage, making her a solid counter to heavy-hitting single-target enemies in PvE and PvP.
  • Helkid: A strong damage dealer who can break enemy attacks, stun them, and give allies a tough team-wide shield with debuff immunity. He deals extra damage when shielded.
  • Lilith: A super useful support and HP-based damage dealer who stuns enemies and grants extra turns to your team.
  • Rahu: My personal go-to! A defense-focused damage dealer who buffs his own defense each turn, transfers enemy debuffs, and gives your team a defense boost. His damage scales with his defense.
  • Tiamat: A hybrid support with an AoE taunt, team-wide healing, and shields. She stacks power over time, then transforms into an ultimate form that unloads massive AoE damage based on her HP.
  • Veronika: A survivability-focused support who shields allies based on HP she drains from enemies. She can break enemy attacks, steal their buffs to share with your team, and grants Soul Ward to keep allies from dropping below 1HP.
  • Kloss: A hybrid damage dealer and debuffer who messes with enemy strike prep, lowers their defense, and boosts damage taken by enemies.

Can I Perform an Etheria: Restart Reroll?

Starting a new account in Etheria: Restart gives you a decent chunk of currency fast, and the banners are pretty generous, especially with the pity now at 80 pulls instead of 100.

To reroll, you’ll need a new account with a different email since guest accounts aren’t a thing. Complete the Prologue: Meltdown Crisis to unlock summoning, then finish Chapter 1: Vanishing Train (Part 1) to access the in-game mail for launch rewards and codes. Do a few pulls, and if you don’t get what you want, start over and repeat.
