Level Infinite and Gameloft rolled out the first major update for Gangstar Mirage City on October 29, 2026. The free-to-play open-world action game is currently available in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Eastern and Central Europe, MENA, and LATAM, with a global launch planned for 2027. The patch adds seasonal content, new permanent systems, and regional events based on early player feedback.

Halloween Takeover with Frightful Feast

The Gangstar Mirage City Halloween update centers on Frightful Feast, which runs through November 18. Players receive daily login rewards and can follow map markers to haunted-house shootouts, wandering ghost encounters, and newly opened areas such as Hilltop Park and a campsite. Regular missions gain extra objectives that count toward season pass progress. A limited-time Pumpkin Grenade adds chaotic moments during fights.

Player-Run Businesses and Syndicate Systems

Player-run businesses in Gangstar Mirage City arrive through the permanent Vice Tonic mode. Players take the role of a Supplement Developer, starting with a small warehouse and handling delivery runs while avoiding Orarra checkpoints and patrols. Operations expand into automated factories that handle production, supply, and distribution, with customization options along the way. This feature responds to one of the most requested community additions.

The update also introduces a 50-player syndicate system. Players can create or join groups of up to 50 members, coordinate activities, and compete in Syndicate Wars for city control. Social tools make it easier to team up and compare progress. Franchise Fury, running from November 19 to December 9, pits the O-Rage and The Family factions against each other in a turf war with bonus rewards for the winning side.

India-Exclusive Diwali Event and Additional Content

An India-exclusive Diwali event called Light up Rooklyn runs from November 2 through the end of the month. Players collect Oil Lamps from the event page while exploring and completing daily quests. Rewards include limited exclusive outfits, hats, and physical prizes.

Other additions include the fifth Empire Pass titled Dance with Death, a Blackbook card collection system with trading between friends and syndicate members, new vehicles such as the Tuk-Tuk, and weapons including a guided RPG and flamethrower. Upcoming activities feature double cash from contact missions starting November 5, Tuk-Tuk Derby on November 12, Agent’s War on November 19, and further events into December.

  • Frightful Feast brings haunted locations and daily rewards until November 18.
  • Vice Tonic lets players build and manage their own supplement business.
  • Syndicates support groups of up to 50 players with wars and social features.
  • Light up Rooklyn offers Diwali-themed rewards exclusive to India.

The first major update strengthens both seasonal fun and long-term progression systems as Gangstar Mirage City continues its soft launch phase ahead of the worldwide release.
