Genshin Impact 3rd Anniversary Date, Special Events & Rewards

Genshin Impact is going to celebrate its 3rd anniversary in September 2023. You can earn tons of Primogems for upcoming banners in update 4.1. Let's check out all the events and rewards of the 3rd anniversary here.

I. Anniversary Date

Genshin Impact was launched on September 28th, 2020. Hoyoverse introduces many events and gives away lots of rewards to celebrate the game's anniversary every September. The game will also celebrate its 3rd anniversary on September 28th, 2023 with lots of events and valuable rewards for players.

II. Anniversary Events & Rewards

There are four events on the third anniversary of Genshin Impact. Let's check out all upcoming anniversary events this year.

2.1. Daily Login Rewards

As usual, the Daily Login event 2023 - Bathing in Flowing Moonlight - will begin on September 28th. You have to log in 7 days in a row to claim seven rewards, including:

• 10 Intertwined Fates;
• 80,000 Mora;
• 8 Mystic Enhancement Ores;
• 8 Hero's Wit.

If you miss one or two days in the event, you miss lots of Fates. These Fates are essential for upcoming character banners in updates 4.1 and 4.2, especially the Hydro Archon's banner.

2.2. In-Game Mail Rewards

In addition to the Log-in event, Hoyoverse will also give away lots of anniversary gifts via the in-game mail. You will receive the following presents from the game publisher via the in-game mailbox of Genshin Impact.

• 1600 Primogems;
• 4 Fragile Resin pieces;
• An Itty Bitty Octobaby pet;
• A Portable Aerodynamic Gelatinous Bubble Generator gadget.

Genshin Impact in-game emails will expire after 30 days. You had better log in and claim these event rewards before they become invalid to obtain. With 1600 Primogems, you can purchase 10 Intertwined Fates to pull upcoming banners.

2.3. Top-Up Refresh

The Initial Top-Up Bonus will be refreshed in the upcoming anniversary of Genshin Impact. When you visit the Genesis Crystal Store to buy Genesis Crystals, you will get an attractive bonus. Just wait for the Top-Up Refresh event to purchase Genesis Crystals.

2.4. Update 4.1 Flagship Event

Waterborne Poetry will be the Flagship event on the third anniversary of Genshin Impact. It's expected to start on the release date of Update 4.1. It has three minigames.

• Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites: It's a traditional game in Liyue. Holding Pots and Sleight Pots are arranged on the stage. You will toss darts to these pots to score. When the Ring of Rites appears on the screen, throw your darts through these rings to double your score.

• Inspiration Eruption: It's a combat event in which you have to clear enemies and get Inspiration Crystals. Then, you use these crystals to summon a Mythic Nexus to clear a wave of opponents.
• Mending Painting Prospects: It's a photo-taking minigame. You will return to famous locations in Mondstadt and Liyue to take photos of missing objects. Participants use these photos to help art conservators restore these famous masterpieces.

After completing this flagship event, you will get around 1000 Primogems, lots of materials, a 4-star catalyst named Ballad of the Boundless Blue, and its refinement materials.
