Genshin Impact Version 7.2, titled Hour of Ruin, launches on November 4, 2026. The update continues the Snezhnaya Archon Quest, adds a new eastern region, and brings two new Electro characters. For pull planning, early estimates and confirmed rewards show a solid free-to-play haul focused on Mitya’s debut and key reruns.
Banners and Characters
Phase 1 (starting November 4) features the new 5-star Electro Catalyst Mitya alongside a Furina rerun. The new 4-star Electro character Valeriy appears as a boosted rate-up on both banners. Phase 2 brings reruns of Zibai and Linnea. A Natlan Chronicled Wish is also expected, featuring characters such as Varesa, Chasca, Xilonen, Mualani, and Kinich along with their signature weapons.
- Mitya: 5-star Electro Catalyst who converts Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct reactions and boosts team Stellar-Conduct damage.
- Valeriy: 4-star Electro support who provides shields and Electro damage boosts, especially for Stellar-Conduct teams.
Estimated Free Pulls and Primogems
Free-to-play players can expect roughly 83 to 86 limited-banner pulls across the full 42-day version, based on current estimates. This comes from about 12,700 to 13,800 Primogems plus 7 Intertwined Fates. Welkin Moon users reach around 109 to 112 pulls, while Welkin plus the paid Battle Pass can reach approximately 118 pulls.
- Daily commissions: 2,520 Primogems
- Version events: around 2,330 Primogems (The Grand Defense alone offers about 920)
- Spiral Abyss: 1,600 Primogems
- Imaginarium Theater: 1,000 Primogems
- Chests and exploration: roughly 1,500 to 1,600 Primogems from the new area
- Quests: about 830 Primogems plus 2 Intertwined Fates
- Other sources: maintenance compensation (600), Stygian Onslaught (450), achievements, waypoints, and more
Most rewards are front-loaded, with more Primogems available in the first half of the version. Completing the Archon Quest within the limited window also grants 560 Primogems and Mitya’s ascension materials.
Rewards Already Available
The Version 7.2 Special Program already released three codes worth 300 Primogems total (HourofRuin, ExpertMitya, and PhotoTime), along with materials and Mora. These expire on October 26. The main flagship event also includes a free 4-star character selector and a Crown of Insight.
These numbers are estimates based on the livestream and early tracking. Final totals can shift slightly once the full event calendar and map rewards are confirmed in-game.
