Genshin Impact Version 5.1 Introduces Four New Weapons

Weapons are an essential part of each character's build in Genshin Impact, as they greatly influence their strength in battle. HoYoverse also introduces a signature weapon with each new character, designed to complement their playstyle perfectly.

Genshin Impact has officially unveiled the stats for four new weapons set to debut in update 5.1. Xilonen's signature 5-star sword, named Peak Patrol Song, features a high DEF as its secondary stat. This makes it primarily suited for Geo characters, who typically scale with DEF in their abilities. The sword's passive effect boosts the character's DEF whenever they land a Normal or Charged Attack on an enemy. Furthermore, it can enhance the elemental damage potential for the whole team, scaling with the DEF of the weapon holder.

The new 4-star polearm, Mountain-Bracing Bolt, offers a significant increase in Energy Recharge. This weapon is a great option for the recently released Kachina, who was also made available for free during Genshin Impact Version 5.1. Its passive ability reduces Stamina consumption while climbing and boosts Elemental Skill damage by 12%. Additionally, the weapon holder gains another Elemental Skill buff whenever a party member activates their skill.

The new 4-star claymore in Genshin Impact is called Fruitful Hook. This weapon focuses on the unique aspect of a character's abilities: the Plunging Attack. It could be a suitable choice for a few characters, such as Liyue's Pyro user Gaming, as well as Xianyun, another Pyro character who can benefit from it. All around, Fruitful Hook serves as an excellent budget option for many claymore characters that scale with ATK.

Many fans believe that Sturdy Bone features one of the best sword designs in Genshin Impact. This new 4-star weapon also has ATK as its secondary stat, making it a strong choice for offensive sword users. Its passive effect reduces Sprint Stamina consumption, and using Sprint will also boost Normal Attack damage by 16%. Some fans have praised HoYoverse for adding stamina buffs to new weapons, as this could enhance their effectiveness in battle.
