The Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Special Program, known as Unraveled for Daybreak, aired on March 13, 2026. The stream showcased a variety of new content for the upcoming four week patch launching around March 25, 2026.

New Playable Character: Ashveil

Leading the announcements was Ashveil, a new 5 star Lightning character following The Hunt path. Hailing from the Ashen Detective Agency, this ace detective excels in follow up attack compositions. He serves as a strong main DPS or sub DPS, with abilities that mark enemies as Bait. When these marked targets are defeated, the entire enemy team suffers a DEF shred.

Players can pull for Ashveil and his signature 5 star Light Cone titled The Finale of a Lie throughout the version.

Banner Lineup

Ashveil's featured banners will run for the entire patch duration.
  • Phase 1: Ashveil + Hyacine rerun. Featured 4 stars: Moze, Misha, Asta.
  • Phase 2: Ashveil + Boothill rerun. Same 4 stars.

Light Cone banners will include his signature The Finale of a Lie along with appropriate reruns.

Story Developments

The main Trailblaze Mission continues the narrative in Planarcadia. New explorable areas include Lookout Cloud Station and Pearluxe Tower. A new formidable weekly boss called Alloy Mechatron: King Pom Pom was also previewed.

Upcoming Events

Trailblazers can look forward to several rewarding events:

  • Gift of Odyssey: Seven day login rewards including up to 10 Star Rail Special Passes.
  • Wispae War Saga: The highlight event featuring army strategy and clan battles.
  • Double reward events such as Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty.

New Relics and Systems

Two fresh Planar Ornament sets are being added: Punklorde Stage Zero and City of Converging Stars. These can be obtained through the Divergent Universe.

The Divergent Universe gets themed updates called Arcadian Chronicles with new mechanics like Waypoint Passes and powerful Masks.

Other notable changes include reduced experience requirements for Nameless Honor to match the shorter patch and an option to save team recommendations from the character guide.
