In a recent leak, Honkai: Star Rail's new character Boothill was revealed to have a good set of abilities focused on dealing Physical damage. He was introduced last week as the latest 5-star character, following Hunt. Boothill is set to join Honkai: Star Rail version 2.2, along with the introduction of Robin in early May.
Boothill and Robin won't be part of the 2.1 version, as the lineup for the current version is already informed. Instead, Honkai: Star Rail will launch two new event-exclusive banners called Words of Yore and Laic Pursuit. Players will need Special Rail Passes to get characters like Acheron, Gallagher, and rerun units like Luocha and Pela. Moreover, the popular Wind character Dan Heng will make a return. Version 2.1 of Honkai: Star Rail is scheduled to go live on March 27.

Honkai: Star Rail Boothill Kit Details
According to a trustworthy leaker named HomDGCat, Boothill's abilities focus on dealing with Physical damage, as we stated above. In one of his skills, Boothill executes a Technique to damage the enemy with the lowest HP and gains a stack of Reforged, enhancing Toughness DMG. His Ultimate ability inflicts a temporary Physical Weakness effect on a single target. Further, Boothill receives a Crit DMG boost from one of his traits.
Boothill's Skill is the core aspect of his kit, marking a single target with a Duel Mark. When activated, this Skill puts the character into a combat state and enhances his Basic ATK. In addition, Boothill receives reduced damage from enemies that do not have the Duel Mark. It's important to keep in mind that Boothill is still in development, so there's a possibility that his abilities or design may change before he is officially introduced to the game.
At Least 2 New Characters To be Revealed in Honkai: Star Rail 2.2
As confirmed by the HoYo team, Boothill and Robin will both debut in the same version of the game. Robin, another 5-star character, will concentrate on dealing Physical damage, according to early leaks. She is expected to excel in a support role, offering defensive utility to her team. Players can anticipate her arrival in the initial phase of 2.2. version.
Last but not least, Firefly is rumored to join Robin and Boothill in the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail version. She's said to be a strong character with abilities to deal heavy damage. One of her moves makes her invulnerable to enemy attacks. Besides, Firefly is said to have an attack that hits multiple enemies at once.
