The Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 Special Program, titled "To Roll the Stars in Astropolis," aired on August 14, 2026, at 19:30 UTC+8. Broadcast from the official livestream studio in Astropolis, the program has now concluded. It previewed a summer-focused update centered on relaxation and new adventures shortly after (or possibly long after) the events in Planarcadia.

Story and Setting

Version 4.5 features a Trailblaze Continuance rather than a main Trailblaze Mission. Players will enjoy a refreshing summer vacation alongside familiar faces in the new location of Astropolis. The official trailer, released around the same time, poses dramatic questions about the cost of keeping arcadia alive and a final gamble, while highlighting characters including Robin, Aventurine, Sugilite, Asat Pramad, Pearl, Himeko, and Graphia. New maps will accompany the story content.

New Characters

Two limited 5-star characters take center stage as summer variants:

  • Robin • Summeretto (Wind, Path of Remembrance) arrives in Phase 1. She is an HP-scaling support/sub-DPS who summons memosprites known as Summer Songbirds, builds "Vibes," and enters a "Fever" state that provides team buffs such as DEF ignore in a zone, action advance, and energy regeneration for an ally marked as a "Special Guest."
  • Aventurine • Waveflair (Quantum, Path of Elation) arrives in Phase 2. This version shifts him away from his original Preservation role into a damage-focused Elation kit involving resources like Punchlines and Fervor. He generates these through teammate attacks, triggers Elation skills (including enhanced versions that consume Fervor for extra hits), and benefits from Certified Banger effects.

These alternate forms keep the original characters available while expanding the roster with new elements and playstyles.

Banners, Events, and Other Updates

Robin • Summeretto is expected on the Phase 1 banner (roughly August 25 to mid-September 2026), followed by Aventurine • Waveflair in Phase 2. The update brings brand-new events alongside the maps and story content. Version 4.5 itself is scheduled to release on August 25, 2026 (NA servers) and August 26, 2026 (EU/Asia servers).
