Putting together a solid team in Lost Sword is all about grabbing the best characters for your back, middle, and front lines. I’m breaking down the top picks here, sorting the roster into three groups: DPS, Supports (healers, buffers, debuffers), and Tanks for a strong front. Some characters can pull double duty, fitting into more than one role. Let’s dig into the best options for mid-to-late game PVE and PVP.

Lost Sword Damage Tier List

Whether you need to wipe out waves, dish out burst damage, or keep up steady DPS, this list covers the best characters for the job. S-Tier characters are the cream of the crop, with Tiamat leading the pack for DPS and Lancelot holding her own as a tanky option when you boost her HP. A-Tier characters are solid backups if you don’t have S-Tiers. B-Tier characters shine in specific situations (like Isabel, who also supports). C and D-Tiers are weaker or just 3-star characters that don’t hold up in mid-to-late game. Here’s a closer look at the standout DPS characters.

Best DPS Characters in Lost Sword

DPS Highlights Notes & Tips
Tiamat
Holy/Wizard/Back
  • Top-tier AOE damage in Lost Sword
  • Ultimate packs a punch and resets her Active skill cooldown for spamming
  • Clears waves like nobody’s business
  • Holy element ignores elemental resistances, making her great for any mode
  • Needs a tank to protect her
Lancelot
Radiance/Knight/Front
  • Great melee DPS and gets tanky, making her a main DPS carry with Clumsy Affection card or an off-tank
  • Needs heavy investment in HP stacking (and duplicates to really shine)
  • One of the best PVP characters if you max out her HP
  • Grab HP-boosting Pets
  • Struggles against single Nature enemy bosses
Kay
Fire/Knight/Front
  • Like Lancelot, she’s a strong DPS with some tankiness, switching forms with her Ultimate
  • Better as DPS than a tank, thanks to high attack speed, crit, and Active cooldown reduction on hit
  • Stack attack speed and attack power
  • Great combo with Galahad as an off-tank and Dian Cecht
Ran
Holy/Knight/Front
  • Awesome DPS with team-wide utility by shredding enemy defenses
  • Holy element ignores elemental resistances
  • Long animations, but her raw damage and utility make her S-Tier
Lua
Shock/Knight/Front
  • All about the Shocked status to boost damage, especially in Rain weather
  • Highest Shock uptime in the game, with attack damage spiking in Rain
  • Skip her in Britannia since it never rains there
Lisa
Chaos/Archer/Middle
  • Top wave-clear character with great AOE damage from her Ultimate and Active skills
  • Similar to Tiamat but a middle-line Archer with faster animations
  • Use her Smile in the Dark card to boost her basic attack AOE
Cristina
Fire/Wizard/Middle
  • Great for sustained Burn DPS, core for Fire teams, and doubles as a support
  • Her % Attack party passive boosts overall team damage
Anessa
Frost/Knight/Front
  • Melee AOE unit with big damage from her Active and huge attack speed buffs from her Ultimate
  • Best for setting up Freeze skills for massive burst damage
Enya
Fire/Archer/Back
  • Solid secondary DPS until you get higher tiers, with steady DPS from Crossbow and Machine Gun forms
  • Her Manager’s Dignity card boosts the whole team’s DPS (except healers)

Lost Sword Support Tier List

Lost Sword Globall Coming Soon V0 Um12dt3bb9se1

This support tier list highlights characters who heal, buff your team’s damage, or mess with enemies through debuffs. Isolde and Dian Cecht are the top healers, while Merlin brings killer debuffs, and Galahad, Erin, and Isabel are awesome for buffs. There’s no bad support here, so no D-Tier. Pick 2 or 3 supports based on your DPS and Tank choices, especially if you’ve got hybrids like Lancelot, Isabel, or Galahad who can fill multiple roles. Esmeralda and Bedivere are solid non-5-star supports that are easier to snag. Here’s a breakdown of the best supports.

Best Supports in Lost Sword

Support Highlights Notes & Tips
Dian Cecht
Radiance, Support, Middle
  • Best Knight buffer, boosting Melee Attack damage and Critical Damage
  • Great sustained heals, shields, and damage reduction
Isolde
Nature, Support, Back
  • Better burst heals than Dian Cecht, plus damage reduction
  • Carries you through mid-to-late game progression with her heals
  • Avoid her in Raids since her buffs aren’t as strong
Merlin
Holy, Wizard, Middle
  • Top-tier crowd-control debuffer
  • Best Freeze uptime to lock down fights and lower enemy defenses
  • Water Dragon’s Blessing card boosts Magic DPS
  • Boosts ally crit rate with her passive
Galahad
Radiance, Knight, Front
  • More of a front-line tank (covered below), but also has strong support buffs
  • Boosts Archer and Wizard attacks and improves team defenses
Ria
Fire, Support, Back
  • Common in late-game Raids due to her flexibility with healing, damage buffs, and critical damage boosts
Guinevere
Frost, Healer, Back
  • Revives front-line characters
  • Clears debuffs from allies and offers decent defensive buffs
Isabel
Frost, Archer, Middle
  • Decent DPS but shines as a support
  • Grants team-wide damage immunity for several hits

Lost Sword Tank Tier List

Tanks are limited in Lost Sword, with the best ones like Lancelot, Kay, and Galahad doubling as DPS or Support. These three are the top picks, offering solid defense, tanking ability, and extra utility or off-DPS. Ethan and Urien are early-game tanks you’ll want to swap out quickly. Here’s a look at the best tanks.

Best Tanks in Lost Sword

Tank Highlights Notes & Tips
Galahad
Radiance, Knight, Front
  • Best tank in Lost Sword, super tanky with damage immunity, damage reduction, and Knight of Purity shield card
  • Boosts team damage and defenses
  • Combos well with Kay to counter elemental resistances
Lancelot
Radiance/Knight/Front
  • Decent tank since you’re stacking HP anyway, but needs heavy investment in duplicates, equipment, and pets
Gawain
Nature/Knight/Front
  • Less tanky than Galahad but has tons of stuns for crowd control
  • Counters enemy buffs by boosting his own DPS
  • Great PVP tank thanks to his stuns
Kay
Fire/Knight/Front
  • Great DPS and tank with innate damage immunity and Immortality passive to ignore death
  • Pairs well with Galahad to balance Radiance elemental weaknesses

Lost Sword Reroll Guide

Rerolling in Lost Sword takes about 15 minutes and is pretty straightforward:

  1. Get to Level 10 to Unlock Mailbox: Skip text and cutscenes, and keep clicking through story mission highlights. Claim all quests on the left side of the UI as you complete them. You can let mission battles run in the background while doing menu quests. Don’t stress about stats—go all-in on Attack for now since you can reset later. Around mission 1-10, you’ll hit Level 10 and get a free Summon, but the real haul comes from the Mailbox.
  2. Mailbox: At Level 10 (around Mission 1-12), you’ll unlock the Mailbox. Claim everything for Summoning materials and Guinevere, a solid revive-based support.
  3. Character Summon Banner: Use all your pulls on the Character Summon banner to aim for S-Tiers or favorite A-Tiers from the DPS, Support, and Tank lists above. Galahad is a great all-around front-liner, Merlin and Isolde are strong supports, and Tiamat, Lancelot, or Kay are awesome DPS picks.
  4. Reroll Account: If your Summons aren’t great, head to Settings > Account, click Delete Account, type “The reset will begin.” (with the period), and confirm. This resets your progress, letting you try again for better pulls.
