The update wraps Erangel in a vampire hunt and keeps that theme active through November 10. Around it sit Ocean Odyssey’s return, a busy collab calendar, and changes to Classic, Arena, Home, and World of Wonder.

Hunt or Be Hunted

Midnight Hunters is a limited-time mode built around the Vampire Hunter Guild and the creatures it is trying to contain. Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry, and Gatka now read as vampire-held ground. Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base work as Guild hubs, including indoor PvP spaces.

Guild Missions include defending the Nightkeeper’s seals, hunting evolving enemies, and clearing vampires. The Nightkeeper is an AI figure tied to extra supply rewards. Hunter Shooting Ranges offer skill trials and a reward ladder.

Enemies and Tools

The mode adds PvE pressure on top of the usual player fight. Bloodwalkers attack in melee. Elite versions drain health and can dodge. Nightbats fire sonic projectiles from range. Elite Nightbats drop stun bombs. Vampire Elders act as mini-bosses and summon orbs that buff nearby vampires. Elite enemies can spawn with shields and unique finishers.

Two other encounters break the loot-and-rotate rhythm. The Golden Bat disguises itself as a statue. Find it and beat it before it escapes. Scream Crates are puzzle boxes. Fail the puzzle and the crate can reveal your position.

Twilight Bat Wings turn a player into an energy bat that can hover, dash, latch onto surfaces, and ping nearby threats. Silvermoon Chain works as both a weapon and a mobility tool. Blood Crystal Barrier can seal windows. Blood Pact, Hunter Bandage, and Scarlet Tonic cover healing and support.

Bloodline Awakening

On Friday through Sunday weekends in September, eliminated players can return as vampires and hunt the remaining hunters. Official materials describe matches with as many as 20 vampire players at once. Transformed players get Claw Attack for melee, Absorb to restore health, Blood Sense to detect and mark hunters, and Blood Amberfication for a short burst of speed and damage immunity.

Classic Mode Changes

In-match missions can trigger while looting on Erangel, such as recovering combat supplies or hacking Supply Shops for Tokens. Shops have a cleaner layout and broader stock. Channel Buoys near Military Base create brief safe water pockets. Floating crates and interactive lockers add extra mid-match objectives. Parachuting supports auto-glide if you drag the joystick up.

The ACE32 gets more stability and a damage bump from 46 to 47. Several 7.62mm rifles, including the AKM, M762, Honey Badger, Mk47, and Groza, receive firing-stability work. The new Inflatable Boat is a portable four-seater that moves faster with more paddlers. Custom Garage players can also spawn a Tracked Amphicarrier with Shop Tokens.

What Else Arrives With 4.6

Ocean Odyssey returns to Erangel on September 30. A giant serpent has also begun appearing, with weakened shell sections that hide scales and supplies.

Lincoln arrives September 10 with new vehicles. One-Punch Man content starts September 20. B.Duck follows on October 2 with Home rewards. Alan Walker’s track FATE is free in-game through November 10. Season 32 and Royale Pass A21 begin September 12. Arena Mode gets a Ranked season from October 1 to October 29.

World of Wonder leans into Halloweeks with new Brainrot collectibles, a Ghost Ship event, a returning Magic Broom, and a Brainrot Wand. Home Mode adds a Cyber Nexus style. Feast of Shadows starts September 13 and lets players hunt specters or play as them. Metro Royale Chapter 34 adds mutated vampire bases at Arctic Base, plus more Golden Bat fights and an upgradable JS9 finish in Card Collection.

If you only play for chicken dinners, the weapon tweaks and inflatable boat still show up in ordinary matches. If you want the headline drop, Midnight Hunters is the reason to update today.
