Pocketpair has licensed its breakout hit for a fresh mobile experience. Palworld Online, an MMORPG adaptation of the popular survival and creature-collecting game, is officially headed to iOS and Android.
Garena will publish the title, which is set for a 2026 launch. No specific release date has been shared yet. The game reimagines the scale of the original for touchscreen devices rather than serving as a straight port.

Gameplay Features and Multiplayer Focus
Players can expect an entirely new story and sidequests built specifically for this version. The world features multiple regions that unlock as users capture and raise more Pals. Multiplayer sits at the core. Friends or strangers can team up to construct bases that act as crafting hubs, tackle PvE challenges such as boss fights and creature hunts, and compete in PvP battles.
Garena highlights one-tap controls designed to work smoothly with the interface, including base-building elements that can feel tricky on smaller screens. The company aims to make the experience feel natural on mobile hardware.
How It Differs from Other Mobile Projects
This project stands apart from the separate Palworld Mobile effort currently in development with Krafton. Pocketpair appears open to multiple mobile approaches, pairing with publishers experienced in the space. Garena brings a strong track record that includes Free Fire and other major titles.
Release Timing and Next Steps
The timing follows the original Palworld reaching version 1.0 on PC last month. Fans of the open-world survival formula now have another way to collect Pals, build, and battle, this time optimized for phones and tablets.
More details on features, monetization, and exact launch timing are expected in the coming months. For now, the announcement confirms that the Palworld universe is expanding further into the mobile market in 2026.
