Lately, creators and players have been talking a lot about various problems in Free Fire India. Two weeks back, Amit Bhai posted a video on his “Desi Army” channel called “Something Serious,” where he covered the positives and negatives of the game. It racked up over 8 lakh views, showing just how much the community is into this discussion.
The trouble is, the community lacks solidarity. Some creators raise their voices, but others stay quiet. As a result, issues keep piling up without any solid fixes.
With that in mind, this post points out five main problems the community should recognize, and that Free Fire has to address right away.
1. Hacker Overload in the Indian Server
Every player is aware that hackers are way more common on the Indian server than in other areas. No matter if you're in BR Rank or CS Rank, once you hit the higher levels, you'll run into hackers for sure.
But on servers like Indonesia, Brazil, Thailand, MENA, and Pakistan, this isn't happening.
The odd part is:
- Most hack panels get made in Brazil and Indonesia
- But you don't spot hackers in their top ranks
- Yet in India, they're all over the place
So the key question is:
What's off with the Indian server that isn't an issue elsewhere?
Solution: Bring back the Device Ban System
In the old Free Fire, Garena used to ban devices. That meant:
- If someone got caught a couple of times, their device ended up blocked eventually
- They couldn't run Free Fire on that phone anymore
If this comes back:
- Hackers won't keep buying new phones
- People using panels will hesitate
- The community will get a lot cleaner
The Real Issue With Garena’s Anti-Cheat
From 1 to 14 October, Free Fire banned 1.5 lakh IDs. But hackers are still running around in the game. So who exactly got banned?
This suggests a few things:
- The anti-cheat isn't strong enough
- Hack developers could be getting inside help
- Or they figured out ways to dodge the system
In the end, Garena has to beef up both the anti-cheat and the device ban system.
2. Misunderstanding About New Items and Collaborations
Folks often complain that “Free Fire has become a cartoon” or “The game doesn’t feel the same anymore.” But actually, it's the other way around.
A game keeps things interesting when:
- New features get added
- New abilities show up
- New modes come in
- New collaborations take place
For instance, the Naruto Chapter 2 update included:
- Teleport ability
- Punch
- New cool items
- Fresh gameplay
All that stuff breathed new life into the game.
Look at games like Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale— They lost steam because they quit adding exciting updates.
If Free Fire stops with the new items, it'll face the same fate.
So new items aren't wrecking the game. They're keeping it going.
3. India’s Weak Representation in Esports
When you launch Free Fire, the loading screen features top players from around the world. But no Indian player shows up there.
Why?
Because:
- India lacks a solid global esports presence
- The community isn't cohesive
- The support setup is lacking
- Garena India isn't offering enough backing
Example: A 16-year-old Brazilian player “Rasia”
- Earned $18,000 (around 90 lakh rupees) in Free Fire World Series
- Appeared on the loading screen
- Gained worldwide recognition
Why can't India pull this off? The whole system is underdeveloped.
Not enough people talk about this, even though it's a huge problem.
4. Irresponsible Handling by Garena India
It's obvious that Garena India hasn't managed many situations well. Examples include:
- When the game got banned in 2022
- No official word came out
- The brand went silent on social media
- Players were left in the dark and anxious
What about Bermuda Max?
- It was announced
- Built up with a lot of hype
- Then it just vanished
- No reasons given
Other games like BGMI, COD, Fortnite, Indus, ScarFall—
They all keep open lines with their players.
But Garena India doesn't.
That's why trust from players is starting to slip away.
5. PC Players Ban
This is something few creators bring up, but it's a big deal.
Garena says straight up: “Free Fire is a mobile game. Don’t play on PC. That’s why PC is banned.”
But…
- YouTubers in the partner program
- Those with verified badges
- Their PCs are whitelisted
- They can play on PC
- They can stream from PC
If PC is bad:
- Partners should stick to mobile too
- Rules need to apply equally
If PC is okay:
- Then lift the ban for everyone
These inconsistent rules cause confusion and inequality in the community.
Conclusion
Millions are still playing Free Fire. But for the game to last long-term, these five issues need fixing:
- Stop the hacker mess
- Improve the anti-cheat
- Provide proper esports support for India
- Garena India should communicate clearly
- Set fair rules for PC players
If the community bands together, creators speak freely, and Garena steps up with real changes, Free Fire India can rise back to the top.
