Kuro Games wrapped up the Version 3.6 Preview Special Broadcast on August 7, 2026, giving players a full look at “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart.”
1. Two Brand-New 5-Star Resonators: Qingxiao and Jingran
The clear headliners are Qingxiao, an Aero Sword Resonator, and Jingran, a Fusion Broadblade Resonator.
Qingxiao brings dual-stance combat that mixes guqin and sword techniques, building resources before unleashing powerful enhanced attacks and sword-riding flight. Jingran focuses on stance switching, heavy attacks, shielding, and lantern-themed domain mechanics. Both received combat showcases and will arrive as limited 5-stars with signature weapons: Glint of Clouds for Qingxiao and Thousandfold Deliverance for Jingran. New accessories (Cloudbloom and Snowpaw) round out their kits.
2. Confirmed Release Date: August 20, 2026
Version 3.6 goes live on August 20, 2026 (UTC+8), right after Version 3.5 ends. This locks in the standard six-week schedule and gives players a clear timeline to prepare teams, materials, and pulls.
3. New Story Chapters and the Cloudshuttle Fleet Area
The main story advances with Chapter 4 Act III “Song of the Sword” and Chapter 4 Segue “The Nethermancer’s Requiem,” both permanent from day one.
These quests open Mengzhou’s Cloudshuttle Fleet, a high-altitude zone filled with flying fleets above a sea of clouds and emerald peaks. Completing the story also unlocks a new musical instrument and motorcycle liveries. Qingxiao plays a key role in teaching related exploration mechanics.
4. Full Banner Schedule Revealed
Phase 1 (August 20) features Qingxiao alongside Denia’s rerun, with 4-stars Yangyang, Baizhi, and Sanhua.
Phase 2 (around September 10) brings Jingran with Hiyuki and Mornye reruns, plus 4-stars Mortefi, Aalto, and Yuanwu. Signature weapons and rerun weapons appear on the corresponding weapon banners. This gives clear pull planning for the entire patch.
5. Major Performance Boosts and Quality-of-Life Upgrades
One of the most celebrated moments was the technical overhaul. Underlying engine changes deliver roughly 10 FPS gains across all platforms, with further PC improvements via NVIDIA DLSS 4.5.
Additional upgrades include themed motorbike backgrounds unlocked through the main story, better Autopilot, expanded sharing options, a larger mailbox (200 capacity) with a collection feature, and smarter Echo equipment recommendations. These changes address long-standing player feedback and improve the overall experience.
These five announcements set Version 3.6 up as a content-rich update focused on new characters, story expansion, and smoother gameplay. Livestream codes HEARTOFSWORD, ETERNALFLAME, and THEANSWER remain available for a short time if you still need to redeem them. The Cloud Shuttle opens on August 20.
