Stygian Onslaught has a new version in Genshin Impact Luna III. It throws tough, hard-hitting bosses at you like the Iniquitous Baptist, Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus, and Experimental Field Generator. Each boss has weak spots for certain elemental reactions and playstyles, so a few set teams let you take them down in record time.

1: Iniquitous Baptist

7d60f 17653958774562 1920

The Iniquitous Baptist puts up Electro, Pyro, and Hydro shields at regular intervals. Dendro and Hydro units shred them quick. Here are the best teams to beat this boss in Stygian Onslaught:

1) Nefer, Lauma, Kokomi, Nahida

32d8f 17653960952912 1920

A Lunar-Bloom setup with Nefer as main DPS, supported by Lauma and Nahida, clears this fight fastest. Have Nahida and Lauma break the Electro and Hydro shields, and use Kokomi's jellyfish on the Pyro shield. Once all shields are gone, the boss goes paralyzed. That's your chance to unload everything. Equip Kokomi with Sacrificial Fragments so she can fire her Elemental Skill twice fast.

2) Lauma, Nilou, Nahida, Kokomi

Don't have Nefer? Run a standard Lunar-Bloom with Lauma, Nahida, Nilou, and Kokomi. Rotations stay about the same as Nefer's team, but Nilou adds extra help on the Pyro shield. Nahida is required here, no other Dendro or Hydro unit works. No Nilou? Slot in Xingqiu.

3) Neuvillette, Furina, Nahida, Kuki Shinobu

A Hyperbloom team with Neuvillette as DPS handles the Iniquitous Baptist well. Neuvillette and Furina synergize perfectly, and Furina pumps up his damage for the paralyzed phase. Nahida and Kuki Shinobu keep Hyperbloom reactions popping to smash the shields faster.

2: Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus

Pyro units and crowd-control characters do great against the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus. This boss jumps into the air at the start and sets up a Cryo shield, so you need ranged Pyro to break it. Here are teams to clear this stage in Stygian Onslaught:

1) Venti, Durin, Faruzan, Bennett

B75ee 17653965137181 1920

Durin excels at wrecking the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus' Cryo shield thanks to his strong off-field Pyro. Combo Venti's Elemental Burst with Faruzan and Durin's Bursts to drop the shield quick and pull the boss to the ground. Build Venti for DPS to boost his Anemo DMG.

2) Mavuika, Xilonen, Citlali, Jean

Take Mavuika's best team but swap Bennett for Jean. When the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus leaps at the start, Jean's Elemental Skill yanks it down. Then Mavuika breaks the shield and runs her normal combos with Xilonen and Citlali.

3) Jean, Bennett, Amber

This oddball team with zero DPS units beats the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus by abusing Jean's fall damage.

Strategy is straightforward. Wait for the boss to fly up, then pop Bennett, Jean, and Amber's Elemental Bursts one after another to bust the shield. As it plummets, hold (do not tap) Jean's Elemental Skill to grab it mid-air, then slam it into the ground three or four times quick. Each slam deals massive fall damage, so you can end the fight without a single direct hit.

3: Experimental Field Generator

The Experimental Field Generator hands out a huge buff to Plunge Attacks, so plunge-focused characters dominate this stage. Others can cash in too if you nail the jump timing. Here are teams to take it down in Stygian Onslaught:

1) Varesa, Iansan, Chevreuse, Mavuika

967f4 17653970896452 1920

Varesa as main DPS is the top pick for this stage. She is crazy strong, and the boss's ATK buff skyrockets her damage. Clear it easy with no special rotations or tricks. No Mavuika? Use Xiangling instead.

2) Arlecchino, Zhongli, Yelan, Bennett

Arlecchino Vaporize team makes short work of the Experimental Field Generator. Time your plunge attacks to grab the 1.5s ATK buff. Boss attacks hit hard, so pack a shielder like Zhongli to block oopsies. Want no shielder? Swap to Xilonen.

3) Skirk, Escoffier, Furina, Shenhe

Skirk ranks among the game's strongest DPS and brute-forces most bosses, including this one in Stygian Onslaught. Run her standard rotations but hit plunge attacks right to trigger the ATK buff. No Shenhe? Yelan fills in.
