HoYoverse has officially unveiled Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.8, titled “New: Eridan Sunset”, during the Special Program livestream on April 24, 2026. 1. Promeia – S-Rank Ice Anomaly (Krampus Executioner)

Promeia is the fourth playable member of the Krampus faction and an intelligence operative tied to the Season 2 storyline. Her kit revolves around Abloom damage:

  • She builds Corrosive Chill on hits and converts it into Trial by Cold points when allies trigger Freeze, Disorder, or the new Vortex.
  • Skills consume Trial by Cold to trigger Abloom on Anomaly-afflicted enemies, granting extra Decibels.
  • Her EX Special enters Bound Absolution state, letting her automatically Perfect Dodge incoming attacks while throwing knives and cape slashes.
  • She provides strong team-wide Abloom damage buffs when paired with other Anomaly or Support Agents.

2. Starlight Billy (a.k.a. Billy SP / Silly) – S-Rank Physical Rupture

This is Billy Kid’s long-awaited limited S-Rank upgrade, funded by “half a year of salary” and featuring a combat motorcycle. He is the first Physical Rupture Agent in the game. Key mechanics:

  • All his Physical damage is converted to Sheer damage, with Sheer Force scaling off his maximum HP.
  • Motorcycle summons, flying kicks, arm-cannon combos, and health-restoring skills.
  • Special Attacks can consume HP for massive ramming damage when HP is high enough, with counterattack options.
  • Gains damage buffs when certain specialties are in the squad.

Story – Season 2 Epilogue
