EA just nailed down the worldwide launch times for Battlefield 6. Their major FPS title hits shelves on October 10, and pre-loads are open now on every platform except the Epic Games Store.
Season 1, Battlefield 6's initial big free update, launches on October 28 and unfolds in three stages: Rogue Ops, packing in the fresh Blackwell Fields map, new weapons, and a 4v4 mode dubbed Strikepoint; California Resistance, rolling out the new SoCal Eastwood map and an 8v8 Sabotage mode—that drops on November 18; and the season's closing act, Winter Offensive, arriving December 9. It features the "seasonal map" Empire State plus a surprise themed event.
No head start for folks grabbing the premium editions, so Battlefield 6 opens up simultaneously for everyone on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S. Steam users skip the EA App for gameplay but still require an EA account. Epic Games Store purchasers need the EA App and an EA account to get in. EA Play Pro subscribers score full access to the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition right on launch day, but only through the EA App.
