The anonymous source known as CyberLeek has announced the end of its GTA 6 leak campaign and canceled plans to release what it claims is a full playable build of the game. The statement, titled “The End of the Road,” appeared on October 14 after an associated cryptocurrency failed to reach a $30 million market capitalization.
CyberLeek previously stated that it would release the complete single-player campaign, including the ending and credits, if the coin hit that target. The group also offered to withhold the build if Take-Two Interactive agreed to ship the game on physical discs and issue a public apology. Neither condition was met. In the new post, CyberLeek said uploading more than 200GB of data anonymously carried too much risk without the crypto valuation being achieved. It claimed Take-Two had already been punished enough and that further major spoilers would harm players who had waited years for the title.
The announcement followed a final gameplay video that reportedly included clips from later missions. CyberLeek maintained that the footage did not reveal the full story ending. At the same time, the group mentioned a “dead man’s switch” that could automatically release major story spoilers if it faced legal pressure from Rockstar or Take-Two. The statement concluded that “the leeks stop here. For now.”
CyberLeek has been the source of multiple unauthorized GTA 6 gameplay clips in recent months, including footage that showed character models and open-world details. Take-Two has pursued legal action to identify the source, including subpoenas related to Discord. Rockstar developers have described the leaks as invasive and heartbreaking for the team. The game remains scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Whether the pause holds remains unclear. CyberLeek has gone quiet before only to return with new material, and the group continues to claim possession of a substantial build.
