Where Winds Meet packs a ton of martial arts and weapons already, but more are headed your way soon. The Chinese server is almost a year ahead of the global one, so we've got solid info on what's next—like fresh skills and weapons.
This post lists every known upcoming weapon in Where Winds Meet. Note: Pulled straight from the official CN version. Some names might shift later on.
Variants
A few variants for the current martial arts got added in the CN version after launch.
- Umbrella: New options like the Vernal Umbrella focus on DPS, letting you hurl it into the air for auto-firing projectiles at enemies while pulling out a hidden sword for combos. Others like Soulshade Umbrella lean into healing with airborne totems and sustain.
- Rope Dart: Upcoming twists include the Mortal Rope Dart for killer mobility and crowd control with grapples, plus new ones packing AoE vortex pulls that gather foes for big damage.
- Mo Blade: Beyond the tanky Thundercry Blade with its HP shields and enemy pulls, extra variants amp up the heavy chaos with wider arcs, stagger, and aerial dominance for group lockdown.
These are in the game now, but extra variants with unique skills should reach global within a year, matching the CN rollout schedule.
New Weapons
Tang Sword
A strong sword style that lets you land a stance-break takedown on enemies after a perfect parry, even if their stance isn't broken. It packs a skill that stuns foes and dishes out solid damage over time. This katana-like blade shines in fast, precise DPS builds, often paired with glaives for aggressive pressure.
Gauntlet
The newest weapon in CN as of this writing. This martial art brings heavy hits with follow-ups, including summoning an eagle to slam enemies. It's way faster than most other weapons in Where Winds Meet, putting it among the top picks there right now. Expect brutal fist combos, grabs, area stuns, and relentless brawling for close-range dominance in PvP and PvE.
Just so you know, the global schedule might not line up perfectly with CN, since devs haven't locked in the exact content—like these weapons or martial arts. Still, based on the Chinese server pattern, count on them dropping soon.
