Code Vein 2, the follow-up to one of the wildest souls-like RPGs around, now has an official launch date locked in. If you're new to it, the first Code Vein came from a tight-knit crew at Bandai Namco. Sure, it had its rough spots, but it carved out a solid spot as a fan favorite in the souls-like crowd.

This time, Bandai Namco wants to push the series into the big leagues. It keeps those core souls-like elements, but ramps up the speed and intensity. Plus, it swaps out the original's dull colors for something way more lively.

Code Vein 2 Release Date and Platforms

Code Vein 2 drops on January 27, 2026. But here's the deal: Snag the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition early, and you get a 72-hour head start. That means jumping in on January 24, 2026, if you go for those upgraded versions.

On the platform side, it's hitting PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. The PlayStation store page says pre-loading kicks off January 23, 2026, but that's PS5-only for now.

Bandai Namco hasn't spilled the beans yet on pre-download times for the Steam PC or Xbox editions.
