Game Overview
Mecha BREAK is a third-person shooter where you control giant mechs called Strikers in a wrecked future world. It’s set after a disaster in 2082 called the "Great Catastrophe," where a mineral called Corite fixes energy problems but poisons the planet, creating "Fading Zones" only mechs can handle. You’ll fight on land and in the air across rough maps, working with teammates and picking your playstyle.
Game Modes
There are three ways to play:
- 3v3 Ace Arena: Quick, brutal PvP battles where you’ll wipe out the other team.
- 6v6 Operation VERGE: Objective-based matches that need solid strategy.
- PvPvE Mashmak: An extraction mode where you fight players and AI, including tough bosses, to grab loot like upgrade materials. It’s got three difficulty levels with tweaks (Regular, Difficult, Challenging).
Mech Classes and Customization
You get five mech types to pick from:
- Attacker - Deals big damage for holding or taking points.
- Supporter - Heals or boosts teammates.
- Defender - Soaks up close and ranged attacks.
- Brawler - Smashes up close with melee attacks.
- Sniper - Picks off enemies from far away.
All 12 Strikers are free at launch, thanks to beta feedback. You can tweak your mech’s look with colors, decals, and patterns, plus change your pilot’s hair, makeup, or body shape anytime for free.
