VALORANT Patch 9.08: Agent Nerfs
Gekko has been a bit too strong in the new patch, so he’s getting a nerf. Here are the changes:
- Dizzy: Active time reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
- Wingman: Concuss angle increased from 45° to 65°.
- Thrash: Ultimate points now required are increased from 7 to 8.
- Globules: Duration decreased from 20 seconds to 15 seconds; reclaimed cooldown increased from 1 second to 1.5 seconds.
While Gekko's abilities are getting a big downgrade, Wingman will receive a slight buff.
VALORANT Patch 9.08 Agent Buffs
Yoru's Fakeout clone is getting an upgrade! Now, it will show visual effects when hit by enemy abilities, making it trickier for players to tell the clone apart from the real Yoru.
Additionally, Skye and Jett are also getting some updates! Their abilities will now break the windows in the Ascent tree, similar to changes made in Patch 9.06.
VALORANT Patch 9.08: New Map Changes
This is the newest addition to Team Deathmatch. It’s set in a fun, competitive bot arena designed for 5v5 matches.
The B site is getting a makeover in Sunset! This will significantly impact the Boba and B main areas, removing a key unbreakable tripwire spot for Cypher. Additionally, small changes will be made to the mid courtyard to add more excitement!
Time for a change! Competitive play is refreshing its map lineup. Icebox and Lotus are leaving, and Pearl and Split are making a comeback. Here’s the map pool for Patch 9.08!
- Ascent
- Bind
- Haven
- Pearl
- Split
- Sunset
