NetEase Games and Everstone Studio have announced a limited-time, global-only appearance for Where Winds Meet. The new set, Forged in Fire, arrives on September 3 at 5:00 (UTC+8) and stays available until October 15 at 4:59:59 (UTC+8).

The official teaser describes the look as something that survives the furnace: "Tempered by fire, unbroken by it. Forged through a hundred trials, standing alone in the flames until dawn breaks through the clouds."

What It Looks Like

Forged in Fire is full dark armor, not a flowing Jianghu robe. The set uses scorched black plate, winged metal pauldrons, slatted visor work, and a horned helm. Ember light runs through the seams, and a torn cape trails fire instead of silk. A bird-shaped pendant with glowing orange eyes sits at the throat, with a pale flower pinned against red inner cloth.

Both male and female versions exist. The trailer shows the wearer on a ridge crowded with planted swords, first in cold storm light, then in a wall of red flame.

Why It Matters

NetEase labeled this a Global-Exclusive Appearance, aimed at the worldwide client rather than a routine China-to-global port. Like other Where Winds Meet cosmetics, it is visual only and does not change combat power.

The timing lines up with a busy stretch of content. The game recently passed 100 million players worldwide. Hidden Mountain Chapter 3 is scheduled for September 16, and the new martial arts set Bamboo Cut - Draught also arrives on September 3.
