Star Rail's Amphoreus Journey is coming to an end. This has been a truly epic adventure, going from one peak to the next. As usual, Each of Star Rail's world so far has a "must pull" character. In Xianzhou it is Jingliu, in Penacony it is Firefly, and now in Amphoreus, it is safe to say that the character you must absolutely pull is Cyrene.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the 5 reasons that players must save for Cyrene at all cost.

1. Cyrene literally supports all teams

Powercreep has been a big problem in Star Rail - a lot of DPS characters have become obsolete over time (such as DHIL). That's why pulling for supports is actually better, as you can get more mileage out of them.

Cyrene's ability to buff is over the chart. She increases the team's damage by being on the field, her skill provide special buffs for all Chrysos Heirs, and CDMG. Her ultimate activates (yes, activates) all ally ultimate and provide more buff to herself. This means Cyrene can pretty much be the top support in Star Rail until the end of time.

2. Cyrene also deal amazing damage

Cyrene's Ultimate shifts her into a unique mode that powers up her Basic Attack. In this setup, she and the memosprite both snag a solid 50% CRIT Rate increase, flipping her support role straight into serious damage output without any hiccups.

Pure support in Star Rail are not that well received anymore. Ever since Lingsha, supports has to deal their own damage to be considered meta for the hardest content.

3. Cyrene has specific buffs that improve the kit of Chrysos heirs

4. Cyrene has amazing visual effects

The characters with the best visual effect so far is Phainon, who destroys enemies by bringing meteors down on their heads. Cyrene is about the same if not better.

5. Cyrene's HI3 connection

Cyrene’s design pulls heavily from Elysia in Honkai Impact 3, making her a likely fan favorite for her look and story. Could Cyrene be Elysia? Let’s break it down:

  • Her name, “Cyrene,” means “ripples of the past,” which could point to Honkai Impact 3’s story. Maybe Elysia didn’t vanish but left traces that became Cyrene, fitting her Path of Remembrance.
  • Cyrene’s reveal came after the Honkai: Star Rail logo, and she’s not one of the twelve Chrysos Heirs, suggesting she’s an outsider in the Star Rail universe.
  • Her appearance, voice, and musical-note sentence endings scream Elysia.
  • Character illustrations drop every 42 days. The next one (Version 3.5) should hit June 17, and Version 3.6 on July 29—Elysia’s “Herrscher of Human: Ego” trailer date. Coincidence?
  • Cyrene’s pose in her latest artwork mimics an archer, matching Elysia’s signature weapon, “Whisper of the Past,” hinting at a deep link.

Could Cyrene and Elysia be like Raiden Mei and Acheron—a parallel pair across universes? It’s a stretch, but Honkai Star Rail’s lore loves these connections.
