Genshin Impact often rerun characters to provide players with an opportunity to get the characters they missed in the past. According to a number of leaks, some top-tier characters are going to get a rerun in the next few months. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the 5 upcoming reruns that you must not miss in Genshin Impact.
Table of Contents
1. Kazuha (Expected rerun in 2.8)
There is a reason that Kazuha is the current most wanted support character in the game. He is super versatile and can be used on pretty much all team comps. His EM buff is also generic and suitable for the majority of builds in the game, unlike other supports who can only buff one thing. Kazuha can fit in a Melt team, Vaporize team, Freeze team or even a mono elemental team. This is Kazuha's first rerun and all Genshin Impact players should capitalize on this opportunity.
His 4th Ascension passive, Poetic of Fuubutsu, is one of the best support passive in the game:
- Upon triggering a Swirl reaction, Kaedehara Kazuha will grant teammates a 0.04% Elemental DMG Bonus to their corresponding Element for every point of Elemental Mastery he has for 8s. Bonuses for different elements obtained through this method can co-exist.
With an average build, Kazuha could get to 915 Elemental Mastery, which equates to a 36.6% elemental damage boost. His C2 also synergy with this greatly, giving Kazuha and his teammates 200 extra elemental mastery.
2. Zhongli (Expected rerun in 3.0)
Another popular character in most Spiral Abyss rotations, Zhongli is more or less a powerful clutch if players are afraid to get killed. This is useful in teams that need to stay at low HP, such as Hu Tao. Zhongli is also a good character for mono-geo teams, especially if players already have Itto and Gorou. Additionally, his E ability reduces both elemental and physical damage resistance by 20%, which always comes in handy for the DPS character in the team.
There is no better shielder in the game than Zhongli, which allows the team to tank all the attacks head on. His shield also prevents staggering, which is very useful when fighting against dangerous bosses.
3. Ganyu (Expected rerun in 3.0)
Not many characters in Genshin can compare to Ganyu in the ranged damage department. With her CRIT DMG ascension stat and multiple AoE skills, she can deal excellent damage even at C0. Overall, she performs mostly identical to Ayaka in Cryo team comps, freezing enemies to deal high crit damage continuously. To this day, she is the only bow character that builds around dealing damage with level 2 charged shots. They also have no damage fall-off.
Ganyu’s charged attacks are different from other bow characters in the game. Her charged attacks have different levels and each level has a different damage multiplier. This is super useful against enemies with weak spots, as all bow shots against that are a guaranteed crit.
4. Yoimiya (Expected rerun in 2.8)
Yoimiya is a pretty divisive character amongst the Genshin Impact fanbase. Despite being Pyro with good stats and skill, her Elemental Burst is out of place and does not fit her playstyle as main DPS at all. However, Yoimiya is still really good and can deal some serious damage with Vaporize and Melt.
However, if built right, Yoimiya can still deal some serious damage. Her Pyro Vision, her high attack stats, and her scalings are more than enough for that purpose. When built right, she can be Genshin Impact's version of a machine gun, firing Pyro-infused arrows continuously. You can boost her damage with support characters such as Yun Jin.
5. Klee (Expected rerun in 2.8)
Klee is the best DPS Catalyst user, with a high base Pyro damage. She can easily set up Pyro Elemental Reactions with explosions. However, the best part of her kit is the charged attack - it has one of the highest scalings in the game.
She needs C2 to give her mines the ability to shred enemies' DEF by 23%. This is one of the highest DEF reduction effects in the game.
Additionally, she is no slouch in normal attacking either. Klee's first ascension talent, Pounding Surprise, gives Klee a 50% chance to gain an Explosive Spark buff from normal attacks and skills. This buff empowers her next Charged Attack, increases its damage and removes the stamina cost.
