It's been a while since the announcement of Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, a mobile strategy game based on the Assassin's Creed franchise. First announced in 2017, but there is no further information about the game until now. Today, Ubisoft released a trailer about the game, alongside a launch date: November 21.
Behaviour Interactive is in charge of creating the game, for both Android and iOS systems. Take places in 15th century Spain, during the Inquisition, Assassin's Creed Rebellion focus on players building their own Brotherhood of Assassins. In AC Rebellion, players can recruit up to 40 different characters, with many familiar faces like Ezio Auditore, Altair, Shao Jun, etc. The "crossover" aspect of the game is achieved by a new Animus system, allows the merging of several memories. Those characters can be assigned to different squads, which can be used to clear missions.
Of course, likes many other mobile games of this kind, it features a gacha system. Also, when pre-registering for this game, you will get some exclusive in-game rewards, such as a weapon from AC Odyssey and Mario Auditore. Also, those downloaded the game on the first 10 days after release will receive some in-game currency to unlock heroes.
The game requires devices running iOS 8, Android 4.1 and above, with 2GB RAM. Assassin's Creed Rebellion will be released on November 21, 2018. You can also pre-register for the game from today. Below is the trailer of the game, which shows some gameplay footages:
