Azur Promilia, the free-to-play creature companionship fantasy world RPG from Manjuu (the studio behind Azur Lane), launches on November 26 for PC, iOS, and Android in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China. Publishers are Yostar in Japan, Nexon in South Korea, JIMI in Taiwan, and Manjuu in China. An English version is targeted for a summer 2027 open beta, with PlayStation 5 support expected around the same window.

Players arrive on the continent of Promilia as Star-Arriving Ones and form Star Links with fantastical creatures called Kibo. These companions assist in combat, serve as mounts for exploration (including flight), and automate tasks at your homestead.

Core Gameplay

  • Combat: Real-time action with teams of up to three characters. Swap between them freely, use skills, perfect dodges, and parries. Elemental marks build on enemies for combo bursts. Assigned Kibo join fights with their own skills and roles such as assault, guard, or support.
  • Kibo Capture and Progression: Weaken wild Kibo and use Stella Cards to capture them. Higher rarity cards or lower HP improve success rates. Collect over 180 types for combat advantages, farming, and collection goals. A 6-star rarity system applies in tests.
  • Homestead and Farming: Unlock base building after early story progress. Dispatch Kibo to logging camps, quarries, fisheries, and crop fields for automated resource gathering. Craft weapons, armor, meals, Stella Cards, and riding gear. The world supports seamless exploration across varied biomes.
  • Other Systems: Main story progression unlocks dailies and more content. Gacha (Observation) features limited banners with pity systems, though exact launch rates vary by region. Pre-registration milestones have already unlocked rewards like currency and free characters.

Playing Outside the Launch Regions

The initial versions are region-locked, and early builds may lack full English text. Official English support arrives later. Here is how many players access Asian servers early:

  • Mobile (Android/iOS): Use a reliable VPN connected to Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan. Create a regional Google or Apple account while connected. Download from the local App Store or Google Play. QooApp is a popular third-party option for Android APKs of Japanese and Korean games, often requiring no VPN for the download itself.
  • PC: Visit the official regional sites or stores after connecting via VPN if needed. Download the launcher or client from the Japan, Korea, Taiwan, or China pages. Performance depends on your connection to the regional servers.
  • Southeast Asia Option: PlayPark is publishing a dedicated SEA version covering Vietnam and other countries. It supports English, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, and Simplified Chinese. Pre-registration is open now on the official PlayPark site, though no launch date has been announced. This version may be the simplest path for many players outside the initial four regions.

Note: Region-spoofing methods can conflict with terms of service and carry account risk. Stick to official channels when possible, and watch for SEA or English updates. With over 20 million global pre-registrations already, Azur Promilia is drawing strong interest for its mix of action combat, creature collection, and relaxed base life.
