Electronic Arts and DICE have recently announced that Battlefield 5's battle royale - Firestorm will not be launched until March 2019.
DICE claims that Battlefield 5 will have battle royale mode, but provides few details on how it has been made. Those informations including how many players the mode will support, and when the mode will be released.
In a recent EA’s post, DICE offers its official announcement that Firestorm will be released starting from March, 2019. It contains 16 squads, with each squad of 4, and players are forced to fight together to become the last survivors on the battlefield. This will be the largest battlefield map ever created by DICE.
The upcoming Firestorm is under partial creation and development of a UK studio named Criterion.
The game mode is revealed to be coming with a new fortress mode that allows players to build up and also destroy the defensive structure for their own survival.
In addition to introducing the battle royale, DICE also delves into the changes of Battlefield 5 over previous gameplay, and particularly mentions the Tides of War, one of the new contents released two weeks after Battlefield 5’s launch in November. Tides of War will bring players a new Panzerstorm map and experience “The Last Tiger”, a new single-player story following the German crews in the battlefield.
Another new Practice Range mode is also added to the Battlefield 5 starting from December and ending in January. This mode can help you test the combat weapons and vehicles as well.
DICE further explained "A seat of learning or just messing around, this area will contain trials to work on your shooting, driving, and flying. Based on the Hamada map, this is an environment that can't kill you - until someone finds the Friendly Fire button, that is."
During this period, players also explore the most modern tanks and aircraft with customizable eye-catching details in the Vehicle Customization mode.
Just a time later, the Battlefield 5’ Chapter 2, with three new battle modes: Co-op Combined Arms, Squad Conquest and Rush, will be coming for all fans of the interesting game in the first quarter of 2019.
The ultimate modes making Battlefield 5 a full game will be unveiled at the upcoming March. They are Firestorm mentioned at the very beginning of the article, along with a new multiple-player battle map in Greece.
