Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode (May 15 - July 14, 2025)

Setting: Set in Aetherholm, a futuristic steampunk metropolis on the Erangel map, featuring industrial chaos and retro-futuristic aesthetics.

Key Features:

  • Titan Battles: Engage in battles at the Ruined Castle using Titan Serum to transform into a Titan with high health and mobility. Titans can leap, deal impact damage, and perform melee attacks. Attack Titan Serum offers a more powerful transformation.
  • ODM Gear: Iconic Attack on Titan gear for enhanced mobility. Players can fire grapple hooks to swing and fly around the battlefield, with gas cylinders available for refills.
  • Giant Potion: Temporarily transforms players into giants, allowing teammates to ride on their shoulders for tactical advantages. Available at hot drop zones near Shooting Range and Mylta.
  • Mechanical Hook: A Spider-Man-like tool for swinging across terrain, enabling quick flanks or escapes.
  • Slide Rail System and Hot Air Balloons: Provide vertical mobility and fast movement between structures.

Trains:

  • Epoch Cargo Train: Stops at Aetherholm, summonable via a device, with a Mechanical Cache in the Driver’s Cab containing supplies.
  • Express Train: Stops at Cargo Hubs and Train Platforms, offering loot and Steam Coins.
  • Steam Coins: Used to buy health/energy-restoring drinks from Clockwork Attendants or supplies from Clockwork Merchants.

Themed Areas:

  • Aetherholm: A central train station with recreational facilities and summonable trains.
  • Cargo Hub: Offers supplies and Clockwork Merchants.
  • Utgard Castle: A new area for high-loot battles.
  • Lucky Cog Machine and Wooden Crates: Destructible crates yield resources, and the Lucky Cog Machine provides supply draws.
  • Cyclone Coasters: Enable aerial combat and traversal.
  • Secret Treasure Rooms: Contain high-tier loot.

Classic Mode Updates

Hot Drop Zones (B1 and B2): Located near Shooting Range and Mylta, offering high-tier loot and intense close-quarters combat.

New Items:

  • Spare Tire: Enhances vehicle durability.
  • Sticky Bomb: A new throwable explosive for strategic combat.

New Vehicles:

  • Fila UAZ: Offers enhanced durability and driver-side protection.
  • Hero Extreme: A new vehicle for dynamic movement.
  • Shelby Cars (x2): Additional vehicle options for varied gameplay.
  • Driver Shooting: Players can now fire one-handed weapons while driving, altering vehicular combat strategies.

Arena Mode Updates

Solo Arena Mode: 1v1 matchups enabled for players Level 10+, focusing on close-quarter combat.

New Weapon - JS9 SMG: A lightweight submachine gun with high fire rate and low recoil, ideal for arena battles.
