Call of Duty: Mobile, the first-person shooter game developed by Tencent’s Timi Studio features many modes, maps, and weapons from all across the franchise. The game also brings experiences from Modern Warfare and Black Ops to the mobile platform.
The mobile game offers full head-to-head competitive Multiplayer modes so that players can show their skills and compete with others worldwide.
To be more clear, in the game, players will compete in signature gaming modes like Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All as well as Search & Destroy. The game also features popular maps, characters, and weapons from the previous games like Crash, Nuketown and more. In addition to this, players will have to rank up to unlock classic Call of Duty characters, scorestreaks, weapons and additional gears for equipping and customizing loadouts. The more loadouts you get, the higher the possibility you would be one of the most powerful players in the battle.
Unlike the main Call of Duty series which uses a proprietary game engine, Call of Duty: Mobile is being developed using the Unity 3D engine. Here’s the official announcement trailer:
The game’s publisher Activision reported that Call of Duty: Mobile amassed more than 35 million downloads in the first three days across both Android and iOS devices. This game achieved this milestone faster compared to other first or third-person shooter games on Android or iOS. Especially, it also ranked as the No. 1 app on iOS in more than 100 countries after several days of its launch.
The President of Activision, Rob Kostich said that user feedback on iOS and Android was fantastic. Rob felt this was an amazing experience, and he gave positive compliments to the hard-working teams at Activision as well as his partner, Tencent studio Timi, for creating such an incredible game for worldwide players. Besides, he also thanked the supportive fans and reminded them to wait for more interesting updates and content to come in the future.
Activision has also included a Battle Royale mode in which players can battle across sea, land, and air with vehicles.
Call of Duty: Mobile unveiled on October 1 in countries where App Store and Google Play is supported, except for mainland Vietnam, Belgium, and China.
