It's out now! Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been released worldwide and can be downloaded for free on iOS and Android. Get ready for action with two favorite Battle Royale maps, classic Multiplayer maps and modes, customizable mobile controls, and options to play how you like. Further, your progress carries over between console, PC, and mobile versions, so you can level up wherever you play.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, is set for a global launch on March 21 for both Android and iOS devices. However, it has been playable in some countries like Australia, Germany, NA, Sweden, UK, Malaysia… for a limited time. Unlike COD: Mobile, the Warzone Mobile is more similar to the PC and console versions of the game, featuring the same in-game assets yet adjusted for mobile gadgets.
In spite of the COD: Mobile’s success, it was noticeably different from the PC and console versions. Nevertheless, Activision aims to bridge this gap seriously with the newly launched Warzone Mobile. As shown in the trailer, the developer views Warzone: Mobile as a way to experience "real Call of Duty action" similar to what's available on more powerful platforms.
On top of that, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile aims to provide the same COD experience across different platforms, with a lot of features to support this goal. The game will have cross-progression with COD: Warzone and COD: Modern Warfare 3 on PC and console. Therefore, players can upgrade weapons and operators as well as earn XP for the BR in all three games. Considering the overwhelming response to COD: Mobile's launch in 2019, Warzone Mobile seems poised to have a similarly flourishing start, which is likely what Activision is hoping for with this ambitious project.
